Finally a golf club reviewer that has no pretention, a less than perfect swing, and hit similar distances to me

Thanks, Tyler! Yeah, I'm just a guy that wants to golf with buddies without being too terrible, and I don't have time or talent to become really good. Just looking to make it as easy and enjoyable as possible for the casual golfer!

Thanks for sharing. I just bought this same driver to replace my 25 year old starter-set drive…. I play 1-3 a year snd had given up on using driver. Since getting this driver, i have the confidence to use a driver again. I have always been able to hit the driver far, but only about 1 in 5 actually stayed on the correct hole. With the PXG I am hitting straight enough to consistently hit the correct fairway and still getting the ball out to yhe 250+ mark. Great value club.

That's the closest stance to my drive I have seen yet. I'm a right leg above knee amputee so I drop that behind me but I wasn't stepping they the swing like you are. I'm going to try that n see if I get more power!

Pine Meadows makes nice stuff and you can put together a cheap set without going generic, nice vid

I like PGX. I use their sand wedge and lob wedge. Great clubs. I got my wife the driver and she is hitting straight about 150 yards, really good considering this is her first year golfing. Just ordered their putter and will probably get another sand wedge for her. Good value clubs for sure.

Aloha Pete. U sold me. I ordered the driver and the one length irons. Although I’m less than half your size and twice or more your age, I won’t be able to swing like u. Got the senior flex. Thanks for your insight and enlightening review. Take care and keep um in the short grass. 🙏👍

Dude I like the 1 step swing, as an above knee amputee the knee bend n hip rotation isn't an option for me. I have been just changing my stance by doing that missing leg back but I might try the step thru next time at the range!

I plays summers with my friend's for fun but were guys so still some competition and crap taking rights lol. I brought a Walmart pine meadow nitrix pro set 4 drivers and hybrind and driver. Its like 5 years old and im not great by anymeans just ur average friend at the golf course and i shot better than my one buddy (most of the time) and hes got a pretty expensive set oc Calloway clus. Im a budget guy and for 150 bucks ive been able to have fun and good competition with my friends for like 5 years.

I use a 2007 Burner but also have 2 cheap drivers by Top Flite and Power Bilt. The hosel on both looks exactly like this PGX. Might be a Chinese mfr. that builds these and finishes them to a customer spec. They are ok, but my Burner goes 10 yards longer.

In Canada there $118 plus tax... I know for sure you could get a 09 TM burner for around $80 that would out preform that

Good question, Dustin! A trunk slammer is a term to describe the kind of recreational golfer that arrives at the course, grabs the clubs out of the trunk, slams it closed and heads right to the tee to tee off. No practice, no driving range, just wants to play and enjoy.

PGX... PXG... can't be that different right?? 😄
