The first thing I noticed about this reel is its weight kzread.infoUgkxM68VkfsQhHaabDce1IwOCXuvumcpbZ_k . I wouldn't say it was uncomfortable but it was a little heavier than other similarly sized reels. However, that didn't deter my enjoyment of how smooth this reel is. I spooled it with 20lb. Tuf-Line XP and it's perfect for what I use it for. I have it paired with an 8'6" Medium/Fast Okuma SST Salmon/Steelhead rod. The combination is perfect for casting and even drifting. I used the reel all day and didn't experience any arm or hand fatigue except when fighting a few fish! The bail is solid and feels strong when engaging by reeling and manually closing the bail by hand. The large rubber handle grip is very comfortable. It's got a powerful drag, silky smooth reeling, and feels very comfortable in the hands. I recommend it!

I love how he can grab the fish in mid air by the mouth with a lure in its mouth and not get hooked. Then I can be careful and be even using pliers and get hooks all up in my hand :) that dude got lucky

I stayed with a group of locals in a village in the interior of Santo once for just a few days, it looks like a lot of fun and the beauty of the jungle and the sea never gets old but it is hard work living like that. We have no idea how blessed and how comfortable we are over here. Just not having anywhere to sit but a rock or a fallen palm tree is enough to wear you out after a few days let alone catching your own food.

  • @CavyFishing

Then you know what this is like first hand mate! How amazing is it, true living to survive. If you don't catch or gather anything you don't eat.. Then the dude with the knife demonstrates great skills in the way he uses the knife to stun the fish. It's the first time I have seen it done that method. Those fullas must have titanium fingers. Real wild boys! Real sick place! love it! Good vid bro, ya made lunch happen for all the boys.

Thats true mate! But with plenty of sea life here they don't have to work too hard to find it! Better it stay like this then them having lots of fishing equipment, thats how the fish population will die out fast... Cheers mate!

One thing I love so much. is Cavy doesn't let race ever become between him and his brother and sisters in this world. We are all one! And have so much to learn from one another!!! :) Looks like a blast!! Did he say that was a male or female Cav.... He left it go in case their was young out there. But I feel like he said a male.... Which kinda seems backwards lol. Cheers mate!!!
