I was lucky enough to be at Headingley for the Stokes innings. We were sitting pretty much opposite the cover boundary that he hit the winning shot to - if I close my eyes I can still hear the sound of bat on ball, can see it speeding to the fence and I can still hear the whole place exploding with noise around me. Will remember it for the rest of my life - what a player, what an innings, what a day.

Good list. Im particularly pleased at the inclusion of Harmisons slower ball. I dont think ive seen a better ball bowled by a fast bowler in the context of the match situation.

I was watching that with my late Dad. As soon as it hit the wicket he said "Slower ball". Both Yorkshiremen but while my old man was cricket through and through (I've still got his Wisden and Truman testimonial programme) I'd never been interested in cricket until that 2005 Ashes. We watched a lot of it together. Never not been interested in it since. Rest in peace my old Dad 1940-2018.

2005 Oh! God, what an era was that. Sachin, Saurav, Sehwag, Ponting, Hayden, Gilchrist, Naseer Hussain, and so on. What an era, I am lucky that I've witnessed all of these on television. Thanks to god that no smartphone was invented in that time. We enjoyed a lot of cricket on TV as well as in playing ground.

Where ever there is help for fast bowlers ,you can find crowds !! That's why , you can't see crowds in India inspite of huge population. Indian ground staff must leave some life in the pitches to increase the battle between bat and ball as well as increase the no. of spectators

Freddy. Undoudably been the best bowler of all times for England. Batting is a bonus as he has not focused it as a pure batsman. Real power house for England and always is.

ENG Cricket has achieved a lot since 2016. Take every format, they have shown the world that a legendary Test Team could do well in limited overs format as well. Kasper was absolutely gutted getting out just three runs short of victory. Jack Leach, in my mind, selflessly let Ben Stokes score the winning run.

Greatest sport in the world imo test cricket there simply isnt anything comes close to it.
