It has been years since we went there. I researched online for a long time and ended up taking the limo bus. We figured it out. However, for someone who had never been there , it would be really helpful if you do a walking video tour from the airport terminals to the counters to outside showing where the buses are, the taxis are and how to get to the subway. Even how to buy a ticket. Just a suggestion. You speak English well, by the way.

Wow you are coming very soon! Excited?? I'm glad this helped! If you have a lot of lugguage, then it's going to be hard for you to carry around by arex. Take a taxi or check out this 6013 bus. For the airport transfer, Naver map seems to suggest I take the all stop AREX to Honggiv University and switching to Line 2, and alighting at Euljiro 3. What is your take on this? I had used that one to purchase my ticket from Busan to Seoul before, so I thought I could use it too for this other ride. And they charge 46,890 wons for the ticket!! WTF. If it wasn't for your video, I wouldn't know that is not the real price at all. Hello! Thank you for watching :) Are you talking about the one in Myeongdong? If yes, then only 6701 goes to Myeongdong area. It only stops at Lotte Hotel Myeongdong. So you need to walk a little. Also you can look into 6001, which stops at Myeongdong station. This is closer than Lotte Hotel from Le Meridien. :)

Yes also taking AREX to seoul station and then transfer to line 1 would be work too. :) If your flight is at 7 in the morning, then I would probably go at night before and then sleep at airport capsule hotel which is great. I did this couple of times :) Check out DarakHyu at T1 and T2.

If you purchased the card type ticket, they will give you a code where you can enter it on the AREX ticket machine. Go to the Machine and select Boucher and input that code. :) But just to let you know, AREX free ticket should be in used during your pass duration.

Unfortunately, bus and metro will stop before midnight. Only way is to take taxi :((

Hello! Yes! That's the cheapest :) ICN > Hongdae > Yongsan Station > Gapeyong Station. Or you can take a intercity bus to go straight to Gapyeong Terminal. It takes about a little more than 2 hours. :) But it costs more. (around 20,000 won)

unless you live near an AREX subway station take the limousine bus if possible

Hello! There are two buses on the list. The last stop for 6015 is Myungdong station. Also 6701 has stops in front of hotels that are in Myungdong. :) The site is very unstable. You have to refresh a little or try to go to the main page. :))

Hello! Thank you for watching. :) I haven't been to any hotels in Seoul Station but I heard Four Points by Sheraton is a nice hotel around Seoul Station. Take non-stop train from ICN to get to Seoul Station, and Four Points hotel will be right in front of the exit 12 of Seoul Station. :)

Hello! I don’t think you can take the regular taxi because only 4 people can get on the regular taxi. Also there wouldn’t be enough space to load luggage for 4 people on the regular taxi. So you would probably need to take van taxi. There are international van taxi with flat rate. It’s 110,000won. Hello! AREX has its last nonstop train before 11pm and all-stop train before 12pm. Check the link in my pinned comment to see the timetable :) If you want to go to Busan from ICN using KTX, then you need to go to Seoul Station using AREX and then take KTX train to Busan at Seoul Station. Our next video will cover how to get to Busan from ICN in detail. So please check the video soon :) From KTX station, I would probaboly take taxi if I have a luggage. If not, I would take a subway because it's cheaper. Check the estimated taxi fare to your destination to see if the price is okay for you. If yes, then taxi for sure :)

Hi, this is a very informative video. I have been to Korea five times before the pandemic. I always take all stop trains from IS to SS and nonstop train from SS to IS because it's the fastest and easier way to get to the city and airport. I have bought a ticket to Korea again and will be travelling with my sister and niece. I was so excited with the news that PCR is no longer required for traveller on arrival. It really eases my stress a little bit. I just have one inquiry. Are there any buses available after midnight? As my return flight is in the morning around 0735 am.

Hello! Thank you for watching the video and sharing your experience. :) At the moment, there isn't any buses after midnight from Seoul. There is a capsule hotel, Darakhyu, inside both terminal 1 and 2. Maybe you could go a day before and stay there. I have done this last year. :)

Hello! I think this bus is the most convenient way. But quicker way and economical way are to take AREX to Seoul Station and then go to Myeongdong by subway. This is the only cheapest way. :)

Hello! Easiest is to take 6015 bus and get off at Myeongdong station or Euljiro 2ga station and walk to your destination. Cheapest is to take Arex to Hongdae and tranfer to line 2 to get to Euljiro 1-ga. :) Hope this helps!

Hi! I'm glad this helped you :) The AREX to hongdae I have mentioned is the all-stop train. Express train does not stop at Hongdae Station. It goes straight to Seoul Station. So it is better to take all-stop train to get off at Hongdae. Plus, all-stop only takes 10 minutes more than express train and it's cheaper. :)

Hello! I'm leaving for Seoul next week. I have the same situation. However, I have a big luggage with me. My friend lives in Hongdae and she said she will meet at Line No. 6. I am middle aged solo traveler and it's hard for me to lift my big luggage. What is your best recommendation, take KAL limousine bus, AREX or taxi. I arrived at 5:00pm in T2, it might take me at least 1 to 1.5 hours to get out, Im also picking up my rental pocket wifi, SIM and exchanging money at the airport. Either way is fine :)) Time it takes to walk to subway and to taxi stop are pretty much the same. But if you take a subway, you might have to walk about 10 minutes to your hotel. If you don't want to walk, then take taxi. If you don't mind, then take subway because it's cheaper.😊

For late night, I would say international taxi is only option. :( There is a bus at night but it doesn’t go to Myeongdong. The taxi would be around 55,000-70,000 won.

I’m coming in august with a lot of luggage and staying in an apartment near Sogang University so I think taxi is best option. How do I find international taxi, or can I use regular taxi if I have address written in Hangul?

If you have a lot of luggage, then taxi is the best. ;) There are taxi stops right out of the airport for both terminal 1 and 2 on the 1st floor. You can find an international taxi by a sign saying "international taxi" on the pole. It's easily found but if you can't find it, then there are people who guide you to a right taxi that you need. So you could ask them for help. :) Please check my upcoming video about a walk-through in the airport. I have a walk-through of a way to international taxi as well.

Hello! Thank you so much for watching;) It really depends on your arrival time. If it’s not too late at night, then you can try visiting Kyeongbokgoong palace and Myeongdong for awhile. Or maybe Hongdae and tour around there. You can take AREX to Seoul Station and transfer to line 1 to go to Myeongdong and take taxi to visit Kyungbokgoong afterwards. You can take arex to hongdae with all stop train. :) There are things you can do while the layover but with limited time, you can only choose one or two :((

If that's the case, it will be difficult to do a transfer tour due to COVID-19. :( You have to take a PCR test once you enter Korea and need K-ETA or visa to enter Korea at the moment. The airport recommneds passengers whose doing a layover to stay inside the transfer zone. But if you still want to visit or if you are transfering to other cities in Korea, I would recommend visiting Hongdae or Han River or both. But just make sure to have all the necessary document to enter Korea and leave Korea before you do a tour. :)

@@yourkoreafriend Yes, I have a layover in Incheon on my way back to the US. I think I do have enough time to visit Hongdae and Han River but I also want to visit a traditional market like Gwangjang Market. 12 hrs is a very long time to just stay inside the trasfer zone. Thank you for the advice!

Oh I see. :) Just make sure to check the airport policy before you plan to visit, because the policy has gotten strict due to rise in COVID infection in Korea recently. I hope you have safe flights! :))

Hi! I'll be staying at Dobong-gu, however, I'll be arriving at 3:30 pm so I don't think I'll be able to take a bus limousine after doing immigration and PCR test. What would be your recommendation?

Hello! I think you will be able to take a last 6100 bus to Nowon Station. Last bus is at 7:40pm from Terminal 2 and 8:00pm from terminal 1. If you can't make that, then probably taking a AREX to Seoul Station and then transfer to line 4 to head to Changdong Station. It would take 1 hr 40 minutes. :)

@@yourkoreafriend thank you so much. I have decided to take AREX and then take the Subway, although I’ll be there during rush hour 😳. By the way, have you guys ever heard of Namane Card? It seems like a good debit card option for tourists, but I don’t know well.

@@Carlos-yi6qm It’s going to be a tough journey in rush hour but you can do it ! 😊 Yes I have heard about Namane card. In Korea, mostly teenagers use them because they can’t make a debit card. You can use it too! 👍

Hi, I am arriving Seoul at 10:30 pm fro Manila, but given RT PCR TEsting and Immigration ill probably be ready by 11:30 pm or 12 am. Is there a late night option aside from taxi?

Hello! There was late-night buses, but apparently they are not in service due to covid-19. I don't know where you are heading but last subway from ICN terminal 2 to Seoul Station is at 23:32, and from terminal 1 to Seoul Station is at 23:38. It's very tight. :(

Do I need to get a bus ticket if i will go to my hotel from incheon airport or hotels have free shuttle services?

Yes. :) Mostly there aren't any free shuttles from hotels. You could ask the hotel if they have a free shuttle service.

So if I’m going to Signiel Seoul from Incheon Airport, May I take the AREX & Subway? If I have a luggage, I have to get SAFEX to deliver my luggage to the hotel, correct?

Yes! that's right :) But take all stop train instead of non-stop train. AREX to Hongdae > transfer to Line 2 > to Jamsil :)

@@yourkoreafriend Thanks! Alternatively, If you take the AREX Express it will end up in Seoul Station. Once there, You will choose between Line 1 & Line 4. Take Line 4 until Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station and transfer to Line 2. At Line 2, exit at Jamsil Station. Even though it’s not recommended, Is my alternative way acceptable?

Yes! You can take that as well. Or you can take AREX to Gimpo Airport > transfer to express line 9 > to Seokchon Station too. :)

If I arrive at the Incheon Airport at 7pm on friday night, done with baggage claim & immigration check, should I go to IBIS Ambassador Myeongdong Hotel by AREX or Limo Bus at that busy traffic hours perhaps, on friday nights/weekends? Or traffic will be less around 8pm or so? 🤔

If that's correct, I would then need to take AREX non-stop Express train from ICN Airport T2 to Seoul Station first, then transfer to Metro/Subway to Myeongdong Station, then walk to IBIS Ambassador Hotel, like that?

Well you can just think it as subways:) it mostly goes underground. Yes. Once you arrive in Seoul Station, you can transfer to Line 4 to go to Myeongdong and then walk to the hotel 😊
