    I hate to disappoint you as the new 21/22 CBR600RR is sold and readily available in Australia. It is however litre bike expensive, although no where near as expensive as it’s big brother, the newly updated Fireblade with lots of “R’s”. I’ve also ridden the new CBR600RR and also the Kawasaki (and the latest Suzuki and Yamaha). The Honda actually feels lighter, quicker and has a heap more tech and if price wasn’t an issue then it’s easily the best bike in each category. Just one reason why Australia is called the lucky country. 👍😎🇦🇺

    Personally I am really disappointed in Honda. For starters the core components of the 600RR are practically two decades old but considered "new" mostly just for the frivolous and fiddly but especially expensive electronics. Then suppose you consider the 650R because it's still sporty but more comfortable for everyday riding while being affordable. Well too bad because Honda only imports the learner restricted version. So basically your choices for mid-weights is to pay through the nose for an old model they're going to discontinue anyway or buy a bike still with it's training wheels attached. Thanks Honda!

    such a tough choice. i was gonna go with a r6, 2017 and up, thats my dream bike but since they dont make them anymore, the prices r crazy, used with 4000-8000 miles they r going for msrp or even 1-2k more. a brand new one has been price gouged to 15k. kawasaki ive never been interested and same with gxsr. this leaves me with honda, but aesthetically it doesnt look that good for me (besides 2022) and from my research it seems to be the slowest one out of them. (thats with seeing smackdown cbr vs r6 and dyno tests.) hell if they made the front like the r6 or a zx10r id get it tbh. ive heard it is the comfiest though, but i would love to take my bike out to the track and the r6 is a track dominator. maybe ill try to get myself to like the zx6r, if i were to get one the first thing id do is wrap it or paint it. not a huge fan of the green color. edit: after watching the video, the 2022 honda is pretty nice. if i were to get a honda it would have to be 2022. actually really unfortunate its not in the u.s. i love the features and digital dash.

    I agree, Kawasaki is rhe most streetable 600... Especially with that extra mid range the others dont have from the extra CC's. I own a modded 2018 Ninja 400 and a bone stock 2023 R7... Eyeing out a second hand 636 to add to my collection and possibly start track riding with it.

  • @ChaseN194

    Fun fact: The cbr600, R6, and gsxr600 are all discontinued or announced that no further improvement will be made to these bikes (namely the gsxr, that is discontinued everywhere but america, but suzuki has already said it has no plans of updating this bike), making this video pretty meh, since going forward the only bike that will be purchasable is the 636. Tbh the R7 is all you need for the streets or the track, so i would say it fills the void left by the R6 in a good way, be it a totally different bike.

    GSX-R is the most comfy 0 doubt with the best power band, but the CBR is really close to it in both and I like the looks of the CBR the most out of of all of these even tho I'm a Suzuki guy. The ZX6R is a sick bike and no doubt the most updated, potent and modern of the bunch so you can't go wrong there--- then the R6 was no question the least practical, worst power band(too peaky with no mid range)and ultra uncomfortable. I'm a pretty fit guy and can ride a Gixxer600 all day but that R6 is painful LOL.... I don't think abs and trac control is needed on a 600 so I'm still partial to the Gixxer-- the Gixxer frame and suspension is just so perfect and I love the way their 600 engine makes it's power that's why I have one.

    @@nativeoutdoors1780 Oh okay. I like to see the road, I don't want to glance down and see so much stuff. Half of it is just useless information to me anyway, like why do I need to see what mode I'm in 24/7? I set the damn thing have it on a separate screen. And some stuff like current lean angle, that's just a party trick. I don't care how hard I'm leaning as long as it's enough. And stuff like wheelie control too, lmfao. What a useless feature except on maybe an H2 but good on you H2 buck off the bad riders you glorious machine. My favorite idea, like on the H2 now i think about it would be a combo of both. Analog tach, it's functional and it's and opportunity to show some craftsmanship because yeah performance performance that's really all I care about, but then why can I put a license plate on it at the end of the day. What I'm saying is I still care about having nice things to look at, so make the analog tach look nice, like a nice wristwatch maybe or with light up numbers and a forged carbon face. The is probably the most important instrument so it deserves its own little island in the cockpit. And then put everything else on a smaller TFT screen that is hugged by the analog tach. Boom the best of both worlds, function/form, analog/digital

    Most aids can be totally turned off. But most 600 riders need aids as they are not high skilled riders no matter what they say. I have 40 plus yrs riding and most riders i come across cannot speed shift on their own, cannot tune suspension, never heard of counter steering, only add power never spend 5 minutes vhoosingnbetter tires or brake pads or adding stainless brake lines. Thing us experience riders know are important. And most as much as they crow about bikes 1/4 mile times are based on times real riders get. Local dragway is littered with 600s and 1000s with extended swingarms that never get within 1 second of stock bikes best time. Mainly as they cannot launch for sh.t. i can run faster on stock 600 faster than modded extended swingarm 600s, makes them crazy. I actually practice drag launches. Best launch is front tire 6 inches off ground rear tire spinning just a bit and zero bog on launch. Practice is key most extend swingarm and think that makes a drag bike. Skill beats hp every time

    this was a good video for tech nerds who look at paper stats more than ride... a good 89% of all the tech talk and trinket items that dealers use to sell bikes wont even be used by street riders. the other 11% are people who actually track their bikes. Best way to make a decision is to test ride each one and make your personal decision. I don't know how many people i helped buy bikes, rode home for them, taught how to ride, got into sport bikes... and they all let their bikes collect dust so all the ABS, TC, wheelie control does jack shit except make your payment higher lol

  • @ErichVonCartmann
    @ErichVonCartmann3 ай бұрын

    600cc Inline-4s are the funnest bikes to ride, and they have more than enough power to go fast. Liter Bikes are kinda boring to ride, as we can just stay in 2nd gear, and we really don't wind up the motor with high revs like we do the 600s. Of all these 600s, the CBR600RR is the only choice for me. Here in the USA in 2024, we do NOT get the Gen6 CBR 600RR, but regardless I still would rather much have a Gen5 CBR 600RR. I don't care that the 2024 USA Honda CBR 600RR has the exact same engine as the 2009. It still looks the best with the best graphics. That red, white, and blue color on it looks amazing, and that underseat exhaust is so super sexy. I am a Honda and Yamaha guy. I can't ever see myself riding a Kawi or Suzuki. Hondas have always been easy to ride and the most comfortable. They are also the most reliable, and are basically bomb proof, so there is also that. CBRs can easily go 100k miles, and there is even one CBR out there that went 300k miles. I have owned a 1994 F2, 1996 CBR 900RR, 1999 F4, 1999 R6, 2001 R1, and 2004 R6, with the F4 and the 2 R6s being my track only and race bikes. I like Yamahas more as canyon carvers and track bikes, but the Hondas are better overall just better street bikes, while being pretty decent in both the canyons and the track. All these power numbers do NOT really matter because it is always 99% rider, and at the end of the day its all about the lap times. I know I can make decent lap times on any of these bikes, as I have won trophies before. So my choice goes to the bike I think looks the best, and that is the Gen5 CBR 600RR, which has been sold in the USA from 2015-2024. I am NOT a big fan of the headlights or the winglets on the Gen6 CBR 600RRs, but I will still pick the Gen6 CBR over the others.
