These builds are so diverse in their themes! I especially love the use of the castle gate to create not just buildings but bridges, so creative!

After two weeks I am finally feeling motivated and ready to start decorating again. I was feeling so overwhelmed but these were so inspiring!!

I've been feeling the same way. I love the new items but I had no clue where to start using them! I was mainly just playing with the DLC and procrastinating my island bc I was overwhelmed lol.

@@Makberries im still so overwhelmed, and at this point im too afraid to actually start working on my island grrhhh i really should stop watching these types of videos, they just make me even more insecure! the game is supposed to be fun and relaxing and we shouldn't pressure ourselves! everyone enjoys the game at their own pace :=

Saaaame. Working on HHP has helped a TON with getting a handle on decorating. To see the progress from the first couple houses to the 50th, 60th, etc is really cool. Highly recommend for anyone feeling uninspired or like you aren't creative enough cause I was right there!! Now that mixed with seeing these gives me the kick in the pants to finally create an island I'm proud of.

@@ynglpws3623 I totally agree and though I find the builds in this video absolutely stunning, there are "normcore" islands with minimal terraforming, just using the basic items that I find just as magical!! I have to remind myself of that often. Sometimes the most aesthetically pleasing are the fully functional, walkable ones with a personalized twist. I recently saw someone say they were making spots of their island inspired by places they went as a child - campgrounds, horse/bike trails, ice cream shoppe - and thought that was the cutest idea! Also unique because those builds would differ from one person to the next. Anyways, lol rave over. Good luck and I hope you do find that love of the game again! I recommend watching normcore builds!

Just some time stamps for builds I might try myself (which is nearly all of them 💀) 1:49 - street design with buildings all across it 2:30 - western style house 3:14 - entrance with apartment buildings on street 3:31 - layered house/shop buildings 4:05 - large layered building (love this!) 4:23 - another style of building 5:02 - gazebo entrance (would look good for park entrance!) 5:10 - Cafe/ restaurant building 5:33 - farm area for crops! 5:55 - library building 6:33 - beautiful bridge design 7:22 - bridge above road 7:50 - build design with alleyway 8:46 - bakery area 9:30 - farm area 10:20 - entrance/ pathway to shops

The way people are able to layer items never ceases to amaze me!

My fav was the diagonal flower garden! So cute. Also the interstate overpass. Loved it. Loved seeing this type of videos…better than island visits IMO. Thanks Caito

I just started playing the game when 2.0 came out, my plan has always been a Ghibli themed island! I’m working on recreating Sasuke’s house from Ponyo atm. Lots of the new items work so well!

Don’t feel bad. I haven’t even started my castle I have tons of leaves (items) all over my two islands. I login I just get so overwhelmed I log back out 🤣

I love all the new items, I just wish they had added an item to „finish off“ the medieval side panel. Maybe a pillar or something, so that you can create a 90 degree angle without any gaps. The castle tower is just so large, that it often just doesn’t work. There’s nothing more infuriating, when the items don’t line up properly :D

6:20. I am so OBSESSED with how this person customized their streetlights with flags... but the flags are flower baskets? I don't spend any time on AC IG so I probably missed people doing this before.... but I am blown away. They look perfect and unique and gives a perfect touch. Wish we had 100s and q00s of custom design slots. It's never enough. I just can't seem to use mine efficiently enough.

That bridge at 11:39 looks JUST like one on my island except I did mine over a railway and had jailbars either side (on the lower tier) instead of the fences, I LOVE how she's used it as an overpass with the cars either side, that whole area looks gorgeous

Probably a mix between time traveling, discord servers and treasure islands, that already have all new items and diys! Though, you can get your hands on the new items quite fast if you have the DLC, as you can order them through wardell and the catalogue gets really large really quick.

I was totally like I'm not going to time travel and I'm not visiting treasure islands. Just going to accumulate everything slowly and enjoy the game. Then I opened Instagram and immediately booked a slot at a treasure island LOL. I am doing a desert-Moroccan castle core theme. They really gave us everything we needed for all kinds of themes, I am loving it.

my favorite one is ali’s and also I just keep building and taking down because it looks so bad. I keep trying to reach this status of building 😩 this was all beautiful

Me too I literally haven’t built/designed any new areas on my island since the update, I’ve been doing everything but facing that whole part of it because it seems like so much work needs to be done

Lookng for some new decorating inspiration for my island... and I MUST know how that Midsummer pole (Maypole) was done!

I was doing mushroomcore but when 2.0 came put I decided to do pastel mushroom/cottage with some citycore
