this island is stunning. i'm a returning player and had no idea we could redecorate our villagers' homes. i have so much work cut out for me but i'm excited at my prospects after seeing this! 😊😊

I go through this playlist every time I wanna design in ac and get all cozy! You are such an inspiration and your laid-back personality (plus way of decorating) helps me realize that an island doesn't have to be done in a month, I can really dig into the lore and drama, take my time, and scrap and redecorate things I don't like anymore. I've had this island since late April, the longest I've ever had one (hi I'm a chronic restarter, how are ya?) and your videos have been such a comfort watch for me!

honestly this was a wakeup call for me that i really need to get my island done, you really nailed the rural feel and thats exactly the kind of feel im going for in my island (with a mix of regular animal crossing feels, you feel me?) so i really needa get my island done. (its also made me realize how bad my decorating is and i really need to step it up a notch...) this island literally had me oozing happiness from the rural nostalgic feelings that i love and crave (modern designs are way too popular imo...) and the amazing decorating it was just. god. i will definitely be taking heavy inspiration (not to the point its copying inspiration though....no worries im not THAT kind of person)

This island is so evocative I can tell it smells like the awkwardness of visiting my family on an island in seattle. Kiki's house in particular goes CRAZY, like, IVE BEEN THERE dude

this is my little intro video to this channel, and i've only seen kikis house but i already know that this island is going to be beautiful. i have been very tempted to get acnh but i am big on immersion, which new leaf fulfils more than new horizons, however its always a joy to see how many creators decorate their island, and as someone whos in love w the new england aesthetic, i thank you for this lovely tour

it's so sweet to see how much personal nostalgia you put into this island 🤍💙 it makes all your builds feel that much more "lived in" it's also always fun to see how different people feel about villagers, which ones are their favorites, etc. i have a "dad" villager too (kabuki my love) and it was funny to see you unamused by raymond visiting whereas i've had him for years and still have the biggest crush on him :') this is one of my favorite islands to get inspiration from. congrats to a beautiful accomplishment 🥰

Congratulations on completing such a massive build! You obviously put your heart into this-I loved visiting the AC version of your hometown! The interiors added so much to the immersive experience. My favorite outdoor section was the old man/dog’s farm by the lake and fishing pond-I loved how it wove around the natural landscape. ❤

as a new england resident, in a beach town, yes the beach is essential feature to decorate whether you like beaches or not, I initially had a set up with a boardwalk and a beachside town and finally got away from it after reminding myself I didn't need to make it look like my hometown but I do love this build and I might add back in some new england vibes

I love this island! This reminds me of Connecticut and the town of Mystic. It was a big part of my childhood, so this island is chef's kiss. Also, Butch's area reminds me of my uncle's home.

The villagers have way more interesting dialogue on your island. I wonder if it's because you have high friendship levels with them.

My best advice to get cool dialogue is to have all the villager types and keep the same ones around as long as you can! You get the best variety that way. I honestly wish sometimes I had two smugs or two crankys instead of double normies and lazys like I do now, they have the funniest convos
