I decided to try 5 different fuels and see which is more efficient. Stay tuned for the other fuels to be uploaded and an efficiency comparison!

When you turn on the and wait five seconds are you on the high position? Cannot get my oven on at all.

Yes, push in and hold it at high for a few seconds. Contact Bertello if you are still having issues, perhaps it is faulty.

Have you tried it with the combo of propane and wood or pellets? I just bought it with that extra basket to be able to use both at the same time. Curious about your thoughts on the combo. Thanks for the videos!

I have the wood tray and love it (need to get some new videos up)! I recommend using the propane on about 1/3 (after the oven has heated up) and wood chucks (pellets can be sooty) for a nice draft of flames across the stone. Keep cooking!

I notice you have some 2x6 under it. I am going to use my oven tonight for the first time and wondering what to put under it. How hot does it get on the surface of the 2x6? I have a sheet of plywood that I was going to prop up on some saw horses. Think that will get to hot? Thanks

It doesn't get too hot under it, I like to be cautious with the plastic. I think a plywood piece would be sufficient to insulate it. Make sure it is supported enough so it doesn't fall or break the wood. Good luck and go post some pics in the Facebook group!

Jonathon Barberio we acclimate lol. I can’t recall what I paid but with a discount code you can get one for a great price. I went this route for now but am hopeful for a brick one in the future! napolioven.com/collections/all
