It's amazing to see Bert being able to slow down and just have a conversation without feeling the need to perform. Good job Pete 💜

Was thinking the same. With Joe and Tom he always needs to show off, and it comes across as the insecure kid trying to impress the cool kids. This was the real Bert, no fake laugh, no boasting, best interview I ever saw with him. Good job Pete!
This is BY FAR one of the most interesting dynamics of two people getting together to gab like gals. Really great episode!

This is one of the best conversations I've heard. You guys are both genuine and Bert showing vulnerability and admitting having impostor syndrome is great. We all get that and it's a sign of always wanting to improve. Love this episode guys.
The Kool aide move was very kind, and very funny. Well done, Mr Holmes 🎉
This is the first episode I've listened to since 2017 and I loved it! I am so glad to be a Weirdo again.
Bert actually had a back and forth with Pete so this ep flew by! Great pod.
In tears laughing at Bert's Yelp review, turns out his artistry really shines and comes through in Yelp reviews
So weird to have my podcast worlds come together. I have been listening to 2 bears since it started, but I’ve been a Weirdo since way before then! Thanks for this great ep

You’re first podcast together was a momentous time in my life, saved me from a shitty vacation and only made me love you guys more
I found Bert through Pete’s podcast a long time ago, so this makes me happy to see them getting together again. I once asked Bert, at comedy on state, if he called to congratulate Pete on becoming a dad and Bert seemed thrown off that I wasn’t asking him anything about himself. I’m a die hard berty boy fan now though ❤
I appreciate his honesty. Hes not my cup of tea but he's doing things I couldn't do.
I listened to this on Spotify, but I wanted to come here to say this was one of my favourite episodes. Great stuff.
5:20. “I didn’t mean to interrupt”. Don’t worry, Pete. It’s gonna get reciprocated.
This Yelp review stuff is hilarious. Pete reading his old review was so fucking funny

Always get John Ritter vibes with Pete. He would make a great dad to a problem child remake! Or even 3’s company would be great!

Love that you two linked up again. Thanks for this great episode :)
Pete and Bert are notorious interrupters - this seems to balance things out for both of them 😂
Amazing Ep. Bert and Pete have great chemistry! Which seems like a no brainer for some reason.

reminds me of having that one seemingly dumb friend but then you get him alone and have a serious conversation with him and he calms down and relaxes and he reveals that he's pretty deep
I still laugh so hard thinking of when Bert was on and the two of you sang Kesha and Heart together.

Great episode.
awesome epiisodeee 😂😂

Bert! Nice writing on that yelp.. you got prose Browski!
Bert. You're in the process of achieving greatness, don't stop. Nothing is more important and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
Popped up in an Algorithm & so glad I did!! Dude’s please do Levity!! It’s my go to comedy Club!!
This is a good one folks!
I went to the theater to watch The Machine. I was expecting to be disappointed but i was blown away. My wife and i liked it enough we wanted to watch it immediately again. It was really well done
Pete is the guy who makes Bert shut up and listen....Gmod
Honestly Pete probably really helped Bert with this episode. Great conversations always!
LOVED IT
That yelp review 😂❤
So fun.
This is amazing. Pete is right about the movie. I started it thinking it would be a couple of outrageous scenes with some laughs and it was truly enjoyable. Bert was great too.
Love ya Pete!!!!
Dope podcast. Thank you
This is fantastic! Thank you to k both of you for sharing so much realness. And that yelp review was absolute perfection, especially because he ended it the way he did.
Chubby Bert is adorable.
This is a great combination of people
But that’s an insanely good two points (of practical concern) to bring up with your new therapist to test if she’s going to address it or get offended/suggest a new therapist.
Pete’s just scoring these guests left and right!

BTW Bert, if you truly want to connect with The Light, namely your Guides and Guardians please reach out. But PLEASE don’t keep taping into fear to connect to “ghosts”. This will open you up to The Dark and give negative energies power because you are consenting to connect with those who feed off negative energy (fear). You have a lot of LIGHT, and are addicted to lighting others up and that’s why you work so much. It’s never about the money. It’s about creating experiences for yourself and others that are fun and light (healing). But you also need balance so you can be as maximum as possible and eventually without balance and taking much needed breaks, you will be forced into it-one way or another. It’s up to you to understand your power and not let all of that high frequency Life Force that keeps going out, run out. Because every Machine needs a reset. 😊 Not to mention that your need to identify with who you are (and your Soul) will never truly catch up because you aren’t letting your new paradigm of success settle in without the fear it will disappear. It won’t. 💜
Great episode and I have to admit 01:04:10 put a smile on my face. I assumed the two were on the outs after Bill/Bert was taken off YT (like most of the fans) but hearing Bill promote The Machine and now this... Also Bert's restaurant review was the funniest thing I've heard all week.
I'm trying to be patient for the next one to come out.....
He we see two examples of GREATNESS
My friend's wife went to college with Bert and she can confirm "unbearable" was the perfect word to describe him at a party in those days.
That YELP! review! Bert needs to write more books.
Help! Does anyone know the song playing in the intro? It dug up a deep memory from 20+ years ago and it’s driving me crazy. Also, what a good interview! ❤
Pete’s take on genetics is fascinating. Love him.
I went and saw The Machine opening night at the Galleria in Sherman Oaks. Thank you Bert! 🤩
You and bert make a great dynamic, do more with him. Berts awesome by himself already but he really helps make you shine since you ask all the perfect questions. Love your stuff Pete, love doing a deep dive into the lives of the obscure actors/ comedians, keep it up.
Kool-aid shirt moment ❤️🔥
I was told by a specialist dr. When I was 17 I had very high testosterone not adhd and have no body hair I’m not balding and can’t grow a mustache or beard and I’m 40 now😂😂
The whole "get yourself scared" thing is exactly why I can't take "ghost hunters" seriously. Your brain is at its most creative when driven by strong emotions and fear is one of the strongest. When you expect to see something your mind will make you "see" it. It's the same with seeing shapes in clouds. There aren't really giant rabbits flying around in the sky. And when you add darkness to the mix with human eyesight not being built for night vision, that's when you start to really "see" things.
Actual first? Neat.
Is this the intervention? 🤞
Hes the mechanic 😂 1:16:25
CAN WE PLEASE HAVE THE MMA FIGHTERS HOME RENOVATION SHOW COME TO LIFE PLZZZZ?? (the one they talked about at 17:10, eit would be EPIC A F)

Bert’s a sage!
Pete's sarcastic "Oh you couldn't get into it?" when discussing the cow-stration. Destroyed me.
I hope they sing Kesha again...
Man. I hope Pete comes around here sometime. What a bro.
I saw "The Machine" in the theater, I thought it was hilarious.
Bert didn't create the drive-in movie theater tour :'D
The only thing Bert wants to talk about AT ALL TIMES is Bert.
The time on Bert's phone 12:34
i was called machine long ago sometimes they called me "Charles" like from water world because my face would get dirty while I was driving my tank.
The thing about 'being kind of of sleeping, but kind of awake, and having a ghost encounter' is actually a SUPER common symptom of carbon monoxide poisoning.
Nice!! This will be a funny one. Two goofy guys goofing and gabbin

Somehow Pete balances out Bert. I've never seen Bert let someone talk so much
😂😂😂
Bert is the least funny comedian I have ever experienced. Seems like a nice guy though. 🤷
Yo what brand hat is Bert wearing?
I'm having a burger now
I thought The Machine was fukn great. I've seen it twice already.
Considering Bert LOVES to talk, I'm surprised this episode didn't last nearly 3 hours.
That would shut Bert up
Heck yeah
Bert's autism is so apparent in this episode omg

Ask him about his Nazi memorabilia.
It’s sad to watch Bert drinking himself into oblivion for laughs.
He lost me at being more attractive than his therapist.
I think Pete is so adorable and sexy!
I think you didn’t understand Pete, En Jay
NO, for real, New Jersey.
I have to wonder if the guy driving that golf cart actually does have dreams and aspirations, but he's afraid to tell people and be laughed at or told his dreams are unattainable. Sometimes it feels easier to be perceived as aimless and apathetic than feeling stupid or inferior. ESPECIALLY in front of a perceived authority figure or someone you look up to. I've been guilty of this. I've dimmed my light and acted like I don't have goals because I was afraid of speaking the truth and feeling silly or stupid.
