Chestnut Mountain continues to blow me away with not one but TWO new trails for us to enjoy. Today we will be checking out the new double black jump line, Champion, as well as a new blue flow trail, Wildcat, and without spoiling too much... we're all in for a treat!

Let’s just all take a moment to appreciate Alex’ hair 😂🤘🏾 Awesome video bro is your buddy on the Santa Cruz 5010 27:5” ? I’m so used to riding 29” his bike looks like a bmx 😂so cool 😎
😂 This is what proper progression and confidence looks like. Stoked for you, Alex! You’re crushing the jumps now. YEW!
It gives me so much more confidence watching someone like you continue to progress and grow, but still be a bit wary on new tracks. I’m nowhere near as good as you, but I feel like I can get there if I keep pushing without being overconfident and hurting myself. Watching pros send it is cool, but it feels like that sort of thing is way out of reach.

I think this is a big thing to realize when watching online content. Though you are seeing the pros send massive jumps and features, I assure you that they too walk it first to scout and discuss with friends. The only differenence is that would never work in a shreddit, so you won't see it, whereas I like to leave that bit in my vids because it's part of the process.

@@The_Sampler That’s very true. I appreciate the insight. Thanks for being such a great content creator, and a great dude. It really helps people like me getting into the sport. Cheers from Australia 🇦🇺
Only Alex could make someone feel like a superhero after a crash. 😂
It's great to see Alex progress over the years. That Farlow video last week, and now this. Best I've seen him ride. And big props for him including the failure on Clickbait at the end. He could have edited that out, left us with that run down Champion, but the Sampler keeps it real! Golf is 80% mental!
Another great video man! You're positive energy and enthusiasm is infectious! It was awesome bumping into you Thursday in the parking lot after your ride. You were straight up STOKED!!! lol
Isn't it great that Alex is making regular vids again? Nothing quite like the sampler to bring and spread the stoke.

Man I love your videos. I'm off the bike at the moment due to a back injury and for the half hour or so watching your videos makes me feel free like I'm riding with my buddies. So thanks Alex, you're a champion.
The stoke from you is insanely contagious. I find myself just smiling while watching as you clean the trail.
Alex, Don't ever change. Your personality is awesome! I love how stoked you get on trails. It makes watching your videos a blast. I look forward to every video you put out.
Great ridin', Alex...always a pleasure to watch you improve and take on the tougher trails.
cleaning the jumpline was sick but I'm more impressed you're able to talk while making that climb up to the top so easy.
That trail is so sick! The stoke is real! I love watching and listening to you ride. I always have a smile on my face!
love how positive you are at all times, makes me want to go riding.
Bro you can just hear the pure joy when you ride. It’s amazing. Reminds me when I first started riding. Keep doing it man
Oh my gosh…what a trail. Nice riding Alex looks like you had a blast!!
Those are some amazing additions to the trail system :). Thanks for the stoke! Was great to see you guys tie it all together.
If I’m ever on the east coast I really need to come check this place out, its sick.
Dude! Your excitement had me smiling the whole way! Amazing content!!!
Dude, you always bring the stoke! I can’t believe you cleared everything on that trail on your 2nd lap! That 2nd lap was impressive, way to go!
Stoked for you Alex! Nice riding!
Love your energy! Great work on the new line! 🤘🤪
Sometimes it takes a trail like this that seems way too scary but is actually within your skillset to boost your confidance! Keep up the progression bro!
Great video! I was smiling the whole ride!!🎉🎉
Alex your level of enthusiasm never Wans and you never swear when you get excited 🇦🇺🙏🙏
This was a great video. Expressed the feeling we all have conquering something we don’t think we can do
You're stoke level is always so contagious. Thanks for sharing it with everyone.
So Awesome!!!! You've gotten so much better at jumps!!!
Yeah Alex 🤘 . Its amazing how riding with someone can boost your stoke and confidence
Just wanna say, you and Brian got me turned on to LMNT. Love the stuff and it works really well. Thanks dudes! Killer video!

Thanks for sharing this with us. An amazing place. Wow 😳
Wow, that looks like such a fun trail!! Dang, to have stuff like that just there to ride for free.. so good
I don’t quite have the skill to ride Clickbait or Champion yet. We were there a couple weeks ago and MAN did I have a blast on Ladybird though. I can’t wait to come back!
‘Twas a good day on the trail! Good job Alex!!
So proud of you!! 😂. That was inspiring! Awesome!!
This video has the essence of MTB. Warm-up / ride something familiar, scout/ride something new, conquer some fears, maybe a fail, leave something for next time. Thanks for making it real!
Champion when wet/greasy = terrifying! Had a short trip you way this summer and gave it a go. Many many cases filed lol. Great stuff Alex

What a sender !! Very clean run.
Hey Alex a mutual friend, Josh L, introduced me to your Channel. And another friend who just got into mountain biking and who for his first bike (and after riding my kenevo for 5 min literally on Black mtn) trail just bought a kenevo SL comp from the great guys at Sycamore. I think you really inspired my friend who's just getting into it. Thank you for the great library of vids for him to use. He's literally moving here from Raleigh just arrived. He's so psyched . Thank you for providing all this great info for him and everyone else

So good Alex!!! jumps are in my head for sure!! Plus my kids tell me I am old….but meh!
Dude, I’ve watched this upload like 4 times in a row now, so good, all your videos are though. Can’t wait for the 22-24, this coming weekend, will be my buddy & I’s first time at an MTB park, Ride Kanuga on Saturday & then explore maybe some of DuPont on Sunday, hope to maybe run into ya while we’re up there, but either way I’ll keep, “LIVING FREE, RIDING HARD & GETTING STOKED”…😜😝🤘

Me as an out of shape old man (imo) having been laid up for a few years after a major surgery, I'm so excited to try mtb to help get back into shape and enjoy the outdoors. I'm still in the looking for a cheap used bike stage but you're level of excitement and genuine happiness are infectious and have been fueling my desire to keep looking and keep trying to get involved. Thank you!

GJ bud~! You did great! The only sketch bit was the landing with the tiny bit of water to the right of it. Landed PRETTY close, from the gopro view anyway. lol
Great video and keep up the stoke!
The stoke is so real!
That looks so fun
That was AWESOME!!!!! I could feel you ride, I believe I was on the bike with you. Like watching a 3D movie ducking and diving, that's precisely what I did when watching this video. Your drops your jumps I felt it...... AWESOME!!!!!!!!! Now I am STOKED to go ride.
that looks so fun
Sick!! oh man, i'd love to ride berm peak some day.
Awesome trail
This is why we watch!
That heavy dose of the good good up in Le Belle Provincé clangin an bangin on the Quebec Tech pays dividends yo 🤙
Hey Alex, I really want to try Elmnt stuff, but it’s not available in Europe…..and that sucks. Love your videos and your enthusiasm!
If I can get to the US to ride these trails before I leave this planet... I'll be a happy man. Hopefully that can happen!
Pretty sure that was the trail builder Peter Mills that hauled ass by you. Good stuff!

Get you some 🤙

You should ride with steepsteep you guys give me the same vibe of energy
Go pro makes Champion look smaller than it is. Humbling IRL 😂
Alex, gaging how I compare. Can you hit the black line at The Riveter? Double black?
You had a hand in me goin with a Signal Peak. Sadly hanging up as im hurt too. Crosswind blew me off the road at 30mph during my last Time Trial. :/ Great bike though. Be safe be well. -U10
Raspberry is probably my favorite of the LMNT flavors. What bike gloves are you wearing in this video?
Hey man I ordered some LMNT through your link… just got the package and they didn’t include my free 8 count sample pack! I hit them up to let them know but also wanted you to know because I wanna make sure you got credit for my order (in case you get a little commission or whatever) Thanks for the awesome videos. -Scott

Ahh, missed out the Insane offset rock skinny on wildcat... So want to see someone hit that... After I crashed on it.
what bike you use ( the red/pink)
Nice riding, Alex. I thought the finale was going to be a clean Clickbait run.....nope.
You’re my idol I ❤mtb
What kind of bike do you have
Keanu Reeves of mountain biking
Wow
Opryland! anyone in the comments tell me what the winter riding is like in the area. I want to take a week and ride but not sure how muddy the winter gets. Up here once the ground freezes its actually faster than the summer... just frickin cold
I was there in july, didn't even try champion
A wonder how many shocks will be sacrificed sending this 😀

So reassuring to hear you confirm that click bait is big... Its trying to carry the speed round loose berms after the big drop, to clear the step up. If u don't clear that, the Lilly pad is impossible. But the the ones after that are smaller/fine, weirdly
we need mtb live stream
