BerleyPro complete steering upgrade with springblade rudder... is it worth it?

There is not alot of content on this new 2022 molding of the slayer max 12.5, the berleypro steering enhancements and the springblade rudder..follow along and lets take a deep dive look at what these upgrades will do and most importantly: I will share my thoughts on if it's worth it or not.
UPDATE: since the video released I reverted back to the native rudder cap steering disc that came in the springblade rudder kit. I was experiencing the springblade rudder having a hard time deploying as tbolt sits much higher on the berleypro rudder steering disc. I updated the what to buy to make things easier for anyone interested :)

Great video. Thank you. I already installed Native's Springblade rudder upgrade to my Native Slayer Propel 10 MAX. I think I shall consider getting the BerlyPro steering upgrade.

I just receive the same BerleyPro handle upgrade kit for my 2021 Slayer 10 MAX, and it only includes the handle and base plate. It does not include the disk (on which you wrap around the two cords) under the plate. At 3:15 of this video it appears to me this disk should be included? I noticed you had the BerleyPro handle upgrade kit already installed on the kayak, and yet had the stock one including the disk in your hand. I would say your upgrade does include a disk? Thanks.

On the Berley website it says that the steering wheel upgrade must be paired with the berley rear disc in order to allow a full turn. If I purchase just the steering wheel would it work with the disc that comes with the Native Springblade?
Do u have the stock rudder or the berleypro rudder?
how did u get that tbolt screwed onto the berly pro plate?!

I bought their plate and did actually have to largen the hole to make that Tbolt work. This was really the only berleypro product I ended up not using long term. The rudder cap that comes with the springblade rudder works best. It is worthwhile to upgrade all other parts of the steering.
