Even though he unintentionally stole the main character’s girl, Benny was still a likeable guy. He was level-headed and reasonably, and was the only one that Lil’ Z loved.

U can feel the emotions in a lot of scenes from this movie . Thats what makes it so great

To this the entire war began after Benny died. He was the ONLY one that could keep LilZé in check; because he actually listened to Benny. Benny would’ve told him to leave Knockout Ned and his girl alone

Having Ze shoot his gun into the air is a great addition. It reminds the audience that he only knows how to handle things with violence, foreshadowing how brutal things are going to play out without Benny's presence.

Same, it's always been one of my favorite moments in this scene, the way she grabs the girl too with the song in the background just fits so perfectly

This stays as one of my favorite movies ever made! There are sooo many references/parallels/small things you may not have noticed, fully realised. Like Shaggy and Benny were brother, both were very well liked. Cool. Wanted out of the hood, both go to a farm, smoke spot and eventually died in love.. Or Lil Z who took out all the bigger dealers al freaking 18 years old and eventually got killed but the runts who were all younger then him, with guns Lil Z gave them! Or when the Tender Trio robbed the place with Lil Dice. One of the corrupt cops said "why don't we take it?" Years later the corrupt cop is in charge and is the one who delivers the guns to Charlie (the arms dealers) and eventually shoots him. There are soo many things like this! Just an absolute masterpiece!

7:23 In my opinion one of the best scenes I've evee seen. The whole movie is a masterpiece!

After earning money by building business with celebrities, it was payback time during our class reunion for those who snobbed and mistreated me LMAO! Yet I was still nice to them even though they were @$$h*les to me back then.

The sad part is Lil Ze's last memory of his childhood friend was one of conflict. And in dying, Benny probably thought it was Lil Ze that shot him.

If you look at it closely lil ze wronged knockout ned 4 times til he woke the beast in him. 1st time was on lil ze 18th when he hit him for not seeing him. 2nd was when he made him strip at bennys farewell. 3rd was when he raped his girl. the 4th was when he shot up his house killing his brother and family members. From then knockout ned had enough
