The editing in this film is something else.

It's hard to express just how beautiful this film is, because of how frenetic and organic the cinematography is. But goddamn, I think you captured it!
I saw this movie in a high school film class and still recommend it to everybody to this day

One of the greatest movies ever made
I just watched this movie......it was amazing, great characters, great script, great acting, and great tone.
City of God is one of the most brutal films I’ve ever watched. It’s all too real and gritty. I am surprised you didn’t put in the shot where Lil Ze shoots up the ceiling while over Benny’s body. Two films I would like to see here eventually is “Beasts of No Nation” and “Beasts of the Southern Wild.”
