Benefits of Glucosamine

For more information: draxe.com/glucosamine/?...
Glucosamine is a compound naturally found within the cartilage of our joints, made from chains of sugars and proteins bound together. It acts as one of the body’s natural shock-absorbents and joint lubricants, allowing us to move around without (or at least with less) joint, bone and muscle pain.
Glucosamine is great for repairing:
- Joints
- Digestive tract
- Bones
You can take 1,000-1,500 milligrams of glucosamine per day.
Chicken bone broth is an excellent source of glucosamine, and can be cheaper than purchasing it in supplement form.

I'm 30 and started lifting weights at 28. I had a lot of shoulder joint pain particularly in my left shoulder. I started taking glucosamine daily and I'm sure it contributed to how my shoulder feels now. No pain and a lot stronger. I did some accessory exercises as well but I'm sure the glucosamine helped. A friend of mine at work recommended it.

Will my body depend on it moving forward? What I'm trying to say is. If I take Glucosamine, to supplement my already healthy diet/lifestyle, then I stop for whatever reason (perhaps I don't really see any changes or benefits). I was looking into health and tried cutting out bread, sugar even fruit sugar because of a blood shot eye and spots i got. After an experiment, i found not only i helped my spots, but my allergy seems to have disappeared. 😶. Im not 100% sure whether its coincidence, but every morning, my nose feels normal. No runny or blowing. Its weird.

Are you saying Glucosamine only or glucosamine / chondroitin supplements ? I've had knee and other pain / stiffness in my shoulder and in my right hip . Within a week felt much better with Walgreens brand . Had knee pain ( osteoarthritis for years ) and it's come and go in weeks or even months long phases . this last time started since Dec and last month got very sharp increase in pain . Used brace , Diclofenac Sodium 1% even artritis strenth Tylenol anf only partially helped . While yes it could be going away like before on its own I think this worked the supplemts . I've heard it definitely works for some but not all . I was skeptical at first because of everyone sayin and sometimes selling many many supplements for many many things but I was really getting desperate . I would've used the entire bottle at ;least ansd see if this worked at all but didn't need to . Within days stopped wearing berace no more Tylenol or Diclofenac sodium gels
