I agree with Prennt57 G, less than 18% of the general population identifies as Feminist and the vast majority of women do not dis-regard fatherhood and hate men. The problem is that Modern Feminism has the loudest voices, and Canadian public is too afraid to call them out due to being labeled a sexist. Canadians still believe in the traditional feminism that fought for women's suffrage which is a good thing, but they can't distinct the difference between traditional feminism in the past and modern feminism today.

@Lois Jose It would be very boring, if this world is just as what it is, as to also say humans are not special from the rest of the animal kingdom. We are the only species on earth that have the concept of God after all although, we are also an animal but just with slightly more complex consciousness and just more intelligence, so I have to say that the mind that God gave me, doesn't allow me to be so arrogant to say we are special, or to say he indeed exist. If he truly indeed exist. According to our current knowledge. I mean, the more you accumulate knowledge in science, the harder it is to see if God has any part in life, other than The Creation of the Universe. But, unfortunately for God, we also have discovered a more reasonable idea and a more likely procedures, about how the universe existed and how life began. Unfortunately for humans, It is a very complex concept to understand of how everything came from nothing. Our current law of physics just stopped working. The time stopped ticking. The math just went haywire. But still, every knowledge we have accumulated and our recent observation of the universe, points to this directions of this possibility. That the universe began from actually nothing. Or what you might be more familiar as "The Big Bang" theory. If you are curious about our current general knowledge in a simple explanation about how the universe began, other than from the bible, I suggest you watched the video here - kzread.info/dash/bejne/qYJ4qcmFZ5bPmLw.html If you just want to stay in your comfortable faith and you don't want to be challenged by another possibility of how the universe exist. Then I highly suggest you to NOT watch the video. Since it's going to make you question your faith. If not about God, at least, your faith about the bible. Your choice.

With the way this young lady is speaking, I can tell that she's LDS (Mormon). How she is describing her situation leads me to believe she's probably in a Branch congregation and not a Ward congregation (the former being smaller then that latter) and probably doesn't have as many male members. It's unfortunate. I served as a missionary for the LDS church in a branch in Pennsylvania. Lack of people in leadership was a big problem for that branch. I served in it for around 4 month before being moved to another city and congregation. I know how hard it must be for her. I hope things get better for her and her kids.

@@Mitheledh The lack of men in primary was, in the past, by design. Until recently, the church's handbook of instructions stated that primary class teachers could be men, but if they were men, they had to be accompanied by a woman in teaching the class. This was implemented to avoid instances and accusations of inappropriate behavior with young children. Recently there was a change in the handbook. It now suggests that where possible all classes should have two adults present and they added this paragraph about men serving in primary: "When considering members who might serve in the Primary, the bishopric and the Primary presidency should remember the positive influence of worthy men in the ward. Children, especially those who do not have worthy priesthood holders in their homes, need to see examples of righteous, caring priesthood holders. Men may serve as teachers, music leaders, pianists, activity days leaders, and Scout leaders. They may also assist in the nursery."

@@grottphd9090 And sometimes an argument is so absurd and ridiculous that it disparages itself. Referring to another man's kids as "trash" is one of those cases. The idea that there is something less than noble about caring for another man's kids is absurd. Did you not hear where she said it was because of a personal tragedy that the father was no longer around? In other words he's dead. Not that if he weren't dead it would be less than noble. In either case it's putting the kids needs before your own. Only a sycophant would find that to be immoral. I agree that the suggestion that she should just find a good man to have a relationship with was extremely short-sighted. This is a great video, because I am absolutely overjoyed to see a woman advocating for positive male role models in her sons' lives. Hopefully, she sees the benefit for her girls in those relationships as well. With that being said, it is also worth noting that I truly hope that she and others who advocate for those highly needed relationships understand and accept that the way of good (godly) Christian men may not be exactly what they expect or demand. For example, I was the only male catechist at my old church for a couple of years and I was eventually run out because I would not water down or emasculate the gospel to the children, even though I was more than sensitive and sound of mind and heart enough to deliver it and Him, Jesus, at an age appropriate level. To put all of that in perspective, if women want more men to be involved in church and in the lives of our children within the community and at home, then they need to allow us to be the men God created us to be and stop trying to turn us, and our boys, into women. In Christ, Andrew ✝️❤️✝️
