She was respectful but she seemed to have the same problem with conservatives that most leftists apparently have. They think that because we disagree with someone that means that we hate them and we intend to shout at them or beat them up or even kill them. Not to put too fine a point on it, but this is not the behavior of people on the right. But it sure has been exhibited time after time after time to be the behavior of people on the left. They seem to feel that it is their DUTY to beat the hell out of someone if that person disagrees with them.

@@maryannanderson7517 wtf, she showed no signs of anger nor wanting to beat up Ben. it sounds like you are assuming that ALL leftists are angry and violent people, which many are. However, you shouldn't assume that all of them are violent, and an example of a non-violent leftist is literally her. i am a right wing but i respect people with opposite views, sometimes more than right wings that don't respect leftist views and ones that assume that they are all bad. so my short answer is stfu and stop irrationally assuming all leftists are bad.

-_-_-_ If you watch a lot of these videos with Ben’s talks the people that ask the questions arent there to learn or understand, they want a platform to make a point and try and make nonsense of what he says. This young woman is extremely civil and outgoing, she isnt there to disrupt or theaten anyone that is why Ben gives her much more respect than others that ask questions. She was polite and kind, asked good questions and knew how to engage in a conversation. Thats why people are comending her in the comments. While most people are civilized and kind to others the people that come to Ben’s shows ask dumb leftist questions trying to just prove a point and move on rather than debating. Thats the reason people are rooting for this young women. ✌🏻

If you pee through penis, you are male. If you pee through vagina, you are female. If you have two genitals, then back to the basic. see through what genital do you pee. Even if you change yourself, by changing your penis to vagina, you are still called male. Or you are bored with your body, and you add a penis on your body, you are still called female. There is not enough evidence in this video for me to describe her as intelligent, what was a sign of not being intelligent is her not even understanding what “phobia” actually means. I also am led to believe based on how she talked about Ben’s take on trans people that she believes that a man can be a woman and that a woman can be a man, so I would say another sign that she may not be intelligent is that she doesn’t understand basic biology. If all it takes to be intelligent is that you can speak normally then that is one reason why the world is how it is now. Society is fine as it is. lets stick to the old methods. no change." This is the textbook definition. U attribute the words of a very few extreme left to the entire left. I agree with some things Ben says. This is how it is in the entire world. In the US however, politicians, celebrities and rights come up with their own definition of lefts and just think everyones like that. Thats not true. Quoting you "If she was a leftist I think she would have a meltdown": very few are like this. Its just this false characterization made by rights for their own personal gain, for example trump, to gain more supporters. The image that lefts are over sensitive or nonsense like that is hogwash. True lefts are not like how u think they are especially in a divided country like the US. Ben's responses were educational and made without rancor. So many on the Left use terms meant as pejoratives by simply adding the suffix "phobic" to them. Literally, the term phobic means "fear of", not "hatred of". Expressing an opinion of what is normal or abnormal does not make one a hateful person. One can "hate" cancer, without hating the victims of cancer.

Nothing intelligent or civil about being an uneducated moron trying to play a gotcha game with someone who’s view points she didn’t even comprehend. She put the responsibility on him to answer with complete accuracy and civility by trying to pin him into a corner with her personal definitions. Trying to box someone in to wrote responses based on incorrect assumptions and definitions is not civil and is no more having a true dialog than yelling at someone. She tried to use vague words (which aren’t vague btw transphobic literally means afraid of trans people) to twist his ideas. Given the time he should have had her scrap the word transphobic and had her describe exactly what she meant. She would have been unable to do so because if she were to have to put her thoughts into coherent language it would be clear she did not have ground to stand on. She didn’t even understand the language she was using and is therefore incapable of true dialogue. Before a discussion can happen we have to agree on what words mean without that there is no hope. she was a complete moron and if you think she sounded intelligent I feel bad for you

Yeah, it's civil in the sense that no one is going apeshit nuts, but she's basically asking him at the end whether or not he's sure he's never told his listeners to kill gay people. How civil would your wife or husband think it is if you asked them whether or not they were sleeping around, let alone being a murderer or accomplice to murder? Probably wouldn't find that too civil. The fact is that her line of questioning, despite being calm, is completely uncivil. Ben would have every right to be extremely offended at what she is implying, but he suppresses that in order to have a discussion.

Theresa Bagley your original point is valid. The histrionics of the ppl claiming this young lady is actually being subtly aggressive are overwrought. She researched Ben S and his views and asked him hard questions she had. And he responded well. That is how debate and discovery SHOULD be done and that is why he told her at the end with genuine inflection that he really appreciated her. Coming out of far left ideology is a complicated long process and this young lady may well find her way if she continues engaging. As long as she doesn’t run into too many far right softies who get their ‘feels’ hurt by a couple tough questions or concepts. The arena of ideas is a rough and tumble place (not for certain faint of heart youtube dweebs) and these two did it better than most as you and others rightly discerned.
