Ben Foster had the biggest save in Wrexham history and played a big part in their promotion last year!

Both Wrexham and Stockport County have a decent chunk of money, both will probably be in the championship in a few seasons. Be interesting to see who makes it first.

If they get to the Championship, they should be extremely proud of themselves, even if they don't ever reach the Prem, it's still a huge achievement and plenty of money to be made for them, because believe it or not, the Championship is the 7th richest football league in world, which is mind-blowing.

They actually live up to their stereotypes of the Canadian one being polite and the Philadelphia sports nut being a little crazy but effective and persuasive

What are you talking about Ben foster reveals? That was ‘REVEALED’ in episode one of welcome to Wrexham.

Calling him "Ryan Gosling or whatever" and then getting exposed for fan-girling over him before the camera's were on is hilarious. Off camera: "Ohhhhhh what Ryan Reynolds like is he a normal bloke? Does he like mcdonalds? What does he wear to a nice dinner???" On camera: "Yeah so still chat to your mate Ryan Gosling or whatever his name is?"

The real question is 'is that beer on reynold's 👖 or something else' 😮

They will make it within 10 years. I have no doubts about that. I just hope they can stay in the premier league. It’s a club with a lot of history

He didn't reveal anything. This is common knowledge that was already revealed in the first episode of Welcome to Wrexham as well as numerous interviews of McElhenney and Reynolds.

For Wrexham to get anywhere near the Premier League it will need many, many millions of pounds from either the gulf states or US hedge funds, a management and general staff with Premier League experience, many new signings and a lot of good fortune. I genuinely hope that they give it a go and get close.

It's a long slow road to do it sustainably, at least a decade. Football clubs aren't just huge money pits that you throw millions of dollars at and get wins out. Otherwise nobody would ever buy them.

Don't be daft, there are are few if any teams that have been promoted on the back of hedge funds or money from the gulf states, making Wrexham sustainable is far more important than just throwing money at it.

@@gshoots4357 Not being daft. I didn't say right now. They may make it to the Championship with their current model but not to the Premier League. I know very well that promotion to the Premier League hasn't been achieved with money from the gulf or hedge funds. Teams recently promoted are teams with long standing structures who have been at the top level before. The exception to this is Bournemouth but they broke the financial fair play rules in doing so. Wrexham are not at that level, so they will need a big cash infusion, as I said and it will need more than the current owners can manage. A reminder, expert, teams that have been around for a long time with previous success, who had no success for some time have returned to the top with money from the gulf, the US and elsewhere outside the UK i.e. Chelsea, Leicester C, Man City and Liverpool (with Newcastle and Arsenal possibly to follow). I have been involved with the great game as a player, fan, coach, referee and administrator for over 60 years, so I've picked up a few clues. So not daft. Probably the only daft thing I have done was trying to teach teenagers History, Geography and English for over 30 years.

The thing is that they have so much attention that they can have sponsors for days. They themselves have even said it that they have offers of truly ridiculous sponsors that they have turned down since they don't really need it atm and don't want the chains from the sponsors atm. But when they get up to the championship they will start to look around for serious investors.

Luton town went up the leagues quickly so wrexham have an even better chance with the money behind them

Ryan has multiple businesses. Mobile Phone, Liquor him and his wife, and other stuff.

So, even in England radio hosts know nothing about anything they're discussing. Thought it was just a Murikan thing.

I can see them being stuck in the championship because of the lack of money. That is of course if they get to that point within 3 years. When they get to that league they will need to really ramp up the upgrading of the grounds. The more people you can sit the more money they will make. It's going to be hard to compete with the top teams in the championship that have twice the amount of seating that you do. This is more so the case in the Premier League with the top teams having 50 thousand-capacity stadiums.

Bit unprofessional not knowing the names of the people you want to talk about do your research 🤦
