Way to go straight to the negative 🙄 Seek therapy. The dog is of a healthy weight with a healthy coat.... He could have jumped a fence, been stolen and jumped out of someones car in an unknown town, owner could be in the hospital with no idea their dog is missing...there's a whole plethora of reasons the dog may have been out there that have nothing to so with an having an AH owner.

1:54: the trusting look he's giving to his rescuers got me. Yes, sir, the tears began! I'm a grown man, and I don't care who knows! May God richly bless the rescuers and caregivers!

I noticed that to. To think that while he is hurt, injured, possibly abandoned and alone, he still trusted complete strangers to help. You expect him to be defensive, yet he remained compliant. This is truly a special dog and I am glad he got 2nd chance at great new life, forever home and family. Thank you ARC for all you do ....from an owner of a rescued Mal and prior Military handler

The street sand or even any ground will do that a human in order to understand they would need to take there shoes off and walk barefoot on the same group there dogs walk, TO UNDERSTAND THE PAIN THERE GOING THREW

We can all be rescues if we have the means and the desire. And I also think there should be more done by the legal system to look for the types of “people” that can abuse an animal. It been said before, if someone can kill an animal, what’s stopping them from killing a person? And I also believe that animal abuse penalties should be the same as child abuse penalties.

Seeing him on the side of the road in the dust panting heavily in that horrible heat really hurt my heart. How anyone could leave him like that is beyond me. Thank goodness the rescue group learned about him and went to save him straight away. What a fabulous dog. I wish him all the best and much happiness. ❤️❤️❤️ I live in California. What a beautiful dog. He seems to walk on the burned paw with no problem. I love the way he sat down on the road surface and then opted for the cool inside the vehicle again. Very clever. Whoever adopts him will be very lucky.

I cannot believe how calm he is .I have a female 3yrs and she is a pistol, but the best friend I have ever had. Lot's of work but well worth! Blessings!

Dogs are extremely grateful especially when you rescue them from a boiling hot surface and help ease their physical pain, it’s often just fear, and like this beautiful dog, he was very grateful for the nursing care he was given, they definitely remember when you’re giving them water through a syringe. A heart wrenching rescue and then very heartwarming that he didn’t want to leave the car that had saved him. I’ve had 2 German Shepherds, an American Staffy, A Bull Arab, and now my 5th rescue dog is a Kelpie X with some kind of hound, he is covered in scars from the abuse he suffered before I got him, it’s been 13 months since I got him, and even though he still gets jumpy even with me, he is very loving. I’m grateful for the time I’ve shared with all of them they have all been different with different challenges, but it’s always been worth it.

Pierce bad a healthy coat and weight. We have no idea how he came to be in such a dire situation. No obvious signs of abuse or neglect. He may have been stolen and escaped. Some situations - and people - deserve the benefit of the doubt. I just hope Pierce finds the nest forever home, and if his owner can take good care of him, that they’re reunited. It would be devastating to lose such a wonderful companion if in fact they were good companions for each other.

As an owner of a Dutch shepherd very similiar to Pierce my heart broke watching his plight. But you folks did a GREAT thing and saved him. Pierce has a tremendous disposition and obviously very trusting of people - I really hope someone can provide him with his forever home and all the love and care he deserves.

I wish I knew how to shut down the Fakes. I spend hours begging people not to reply. But the same people do all the time. There are two Indian ones that are amazing, and they pick up the very worst of the worst.. volunteers from all the world spend time helping out.

I adopted my GSD. Aftwr work, I take him for a hike or to play Chuck-It. We hang out outside for 60-90 minutes weeknights and longer on weekends. Evenings he cuddles with me and rests his head on my lap while we read, listen to music or watch TV.

He clearly wants to be the best boy possible. What a sweetie! When he jumped back in the AC in the car, it hit me hard. I think of all of the homeless animals and people out in that heat and it's heartbreaking. I hope he finds the best home for him. Choice of words you replied is truly a gift from the holy spirit. Belgian Malinios are amazing dogs and its inteligence is beyond humans understanding although dog owners must be willing to put in the excessive time and energy needed to train these dogs. There are pleanty of people who have no idea that Belgian Malinios is more and more likely to be one of the best dog in the world. The truth is, audience or viewers do have the obligation to disagree, but should not underestimate its breed and its rescue. Very impressive indeed... thank you humanity with kindness...

@@tonitomei6323 It's possible the dog escaped from their yard. Maybe they moved to a new area and he wondered off. Not blaming anyone unless I'm sure they don't care for him. Noticed his teeth were very clean and healthy looking pink tongue. Hope they're reunited if they truly care. This little guy deserves a second chance. 🐶💖

I have a Dutch Shepherd and you are right. Trust me I was in way over my head after I bought her . She is a beauty but the biggest challenge I have ever had. Everyone who sees her wants to get one but I strongly warn them against it unless they have experience with this breed. Extremely hard to learn as you go along but too hard to let her go now.😊

Yes, they're a handful, if they get guardians who don't understand the breed, and just want them because they're gorgeous dogs. They need l o a d s of love and care, and ofc loads and loads of activity, mental and physical training. I had a rescue, a groenendal. Got her when she was 14 mnths, everyone said "DON'T" cause she had experienced ery bad things in her young life, and she was hyper and nervous at the same time. But she turned out to be the best of dogs; Tons of "work", but it paid of. Never experienced a more loyal, fun, miscieves and smart dog, she was the worlds best companion, walking in the mountains, and she loved running in front of the snow mobile. We had her for 14 wonderful years.

I rescued a Belgian Malinois from our local animal shelter in 2019 to be a companion for our Husky. They are inseparable and it was the best decision we ever made!❤

Except I was practically screaming at the screen saying put the gurney up against the car. That part really ticked me off. It would have been so much easier to put the dog on the gurney instead of practically dropping him especially if you don't know if there are broken bones or other injuries. Outside of that I'm glad they got to him before heat stroke set in.

@@caspergibson699 , I agree with what you wrote.. but it’s still an unknown dog to them.. unknown injuries and how he’d react to strangers. Maybe muzzle him from the get-go. I’m glad for him too, in the end.

I would adopt him in a heartbeat. Based in London. This video made me cry. It's disheartening to hear about the lack of available emergency services and veterinary care in a first world country and in California no less. It raises concerns about priorities in society. The fact that only one vet in the entire area could take the dog is frankly alarming considering the abundance of wealth there. The indifference shown by humans who passed the dog without helping is a sad display of a lack empathy. In the UK, this dog would have found a home with the next person who saw him, which is why you never come across a situation like this over here. The low number of subscribers for this channel is a disappointing reflection of empathy in society. You deserve far more support for your valuable work. Here in London, there are so many people on the list to adopt a dog that the dog homes have a long waiting list (for humans, not dogs!). Dogs deserve so much better than I see online all around the world. They don't deserve the lack of empathy so many humans have.

If we could get him to you without putting him in the belly of the plane, we would. You sound like a wonderful fur parent. Our area of the country is unique when it comes to pets. We have had a shortage of vets for a few years now and we have a large population of homeless dogs for lots of reasons that I won't get into. We are trying to change that.

Why was there no available 24 hr emergency vets? I don't understand that.....we live in south Florida and there at least two to three , that are open all night, in most Florida counties throughout the state. You don't have to drive more than 30 minutes at the most, to find one, in this state. Some are much closer.

@@flagal519 I live in California. This state is not a one size fits all situation. In some areas, mostly urban, finding a 24 hour vet is no problem. In rural areas, it's almost impossible to find a vet without driving hours to a city. What happened to this Malinois is a success story. He is a very lucky dog indeed. He was found on a reservation, so I'm not surprised finding a vet was a challenge. I live in a rural area and see situations regarding animals and the apathy towards them that is so horrible it keeps me up nights crying. Animals are a priority for me, but not for many others. California has the best one could hope for, but it also has the worst one could ever imagine.

Trust me when I say there are kind, good hearted people here too. By the way, I hope to visit your lovely country one day.

He did not want to leave the car. While the A/C was on. As for his paws. Just pick him up. They are smart enough to know whether you will or will not hurt him.

A big thank you to the person that initially called in the dog laying in the road and then to his rescuers for saving his life. Pierce is beautiful and hopefully will find a loving home.

Poor dog! These are super smart dogs, and active and agile, so hopefully he'll get a home with someone who understands and appreciates him. You could see how scared he was as he kept looking from one person to another in the back of the car.

He looks like well-taken care of. Probably he got lost? He's so gorgeous. Hopefully he'll find a forever home. Thank you for rescuing him.

Pierce has officially been adopted this morning to a wonderful family in Indianapolis, Indiana. We hope to have his adoption up this coming week.
