@@Jezus42 Wow. How do you know all this? You must have looked into your crystal ball huh? 😆 Duh... Excuse me, but I have more experience with dogs than you. I know that for a fact. Because I wouldn't be scared of owning this dog or any other dog. It's called training and if you've got the know how it's not hard. Try watching Beckman Unleashed. And you'll see if you know anything about animal behavior, it's not rocket science. It just takes the right person and some dedication. I'm not saying all dogs are fixable, but Cane Corsos are highly intelligent and yes you're right, they're not for everyone. An owner of one should be highly experienced with dogs, have a strong mind and a gentle but firm hand. They need early socialization and training. But that doesn't mean this dog is a lost cause cos his owners SUCKED.

@@Jezus42 I've had a few actually yes. I used to breed Dobermans and I've owned GSDs. My next dog will more than likely be a Cane Corso. They are amazing dogs when raised properly. Because I have never owned one before, I am currently educating myself through others who've raised them to be service dogs. And I live in the mountains of Washington where we have bears and cougars and I'm tired of having to carry my gun for protection while I'm walking my Cavalier who couldn't protect me from a fly lol. I have full confidence in myself with a Cane, even if you don't. I'm not a irresponsible dog owner and I put everything into my dogs. There is no greater bond you can have with any other animal on the planet. I understand what you're saying. These dogs aren't for the faint of heart, but I have full trust in myself.

CC’s are another breed that has been growing in popularity and showing up in CA shelters (see: Rocky Kanaka’s YT channel for example). Thanks to these kind campers and you for rescuing him when others might be too scared to even approach or help. PB intact w/cropped ears and docked tail (so another BB dog who was a dumped, lost, or stolen stray?) Fortunately, he’s not too skinny yet, though he is hungry! Although he barks a lot, he seems friendly, and the fact that he seemed to want to meet the Belgian but didn’t charge (actually bowed, then backed away inviting play?) seems also a good sign. Anyway, I s’pose you already know all this, and I’m just preaching to the choir. “Anderson” is a good name for a beautiful big boy dog.💕🐾🎄🕎☮️

Yeap, these are another breed that is showing up in shelters...my thing is people must have a lot of money to throw away. There should be some kind of law to stop people from buying these breeds only because it's popular...I don't know ...but I just hate when some animals become the "new thing" and everybody has to have one then discards it when it's no longer a puppy....and 2 years seem to be the mark to give them up.

I'm used to big dogs all my life and have rescued owned or trained big dogs except this big I would want prior training from expert. So I would know what to do for sure. At 80 yrs old this month Dec 2023 I still love them all for 65 yrs of saving and adopting lm semi dis abled bad knees I still walk etc. with cane but full of all my facilcees and always love. Never owned a dog house I bought this house in the county with acre of land and quiet my next dog will be med to small. Always no younger than six everyone wants a puppy me too if handicapped old or just thrown away. My first picks. Since a youth my mother never knew what I would be bringing home. Most had to be taken to humane society due to how many we had 3was the limit to a house or if only one could fit in or could be fed and kept inside I love all gods creatures except some people absolutely no strings do they have they love mostly no matter what. Loyal loving truthful trusting guarding protecting forgiving and more no human can fulfill the dogs ways Of truth find that human I want to meet them already know the only person there is Jesus Christ. Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night .God bless the beasts and the children. Dc Indiana north usa
