Very few of them are full time strongman. Most of them have jobs at least for the first half of their career. Mitch is in that bracket, he just finished his first year competing internationally.

Lol why wouldn’t they be able to work😂 not even close to the amount of effort required to bodybuild at the highest of pro level and 99 percent of us have jobs too.

@@Marcel16DM Mitch absolutely doesn't need to work a day job. Not even considering sponsors, he has made a VERY healthy salary in his first year of competing, just from prize money.
I love how he emphasized having a back up plan if his career were to end.

You don't have to acheive anything in life to be "living life to the fullest". I have seen many people achieve and do great things in life and sadly commit suicide. The most important thing is to live a HAPPY life. Thats living life to the fullest for me. And that could take the form of just being happy and grateful to be alive each day and not reliant on any external achievements, material possessions, or events.

@@patrickokeeffe4787 I read the concern and compassion in your message but I do feel differently on this matter,if your wife or mother tells u this you'll think okay fine I'll be happy and grateful, and u will be right? the minute u step out of line you'll be reminded contributing nothing and how much of a hopeless bum u are,but having achievements/money means respect from society, even from your so called loved ones so my point is that it's important to do things u "love", because external factors like social pressure can influence your "happiness" but your love for whatever it is u do whether it's training or reading or making music or whatever will make it easy to erase the noise from outside coming in,I know it sounds depressing because u came with so much positivity, but my understanding is that happiness is what we depend on others for and love is created by u so u protect it and nurture it and grow it, Mitchell looks like he loves what he does that's why it's inspiring for me,coz I love training and no matter what I'm always going to train,it's like an escape for me,I go to the moon

@@patrickokeeffe4787 very well said. people sometimes feel like they need to "achieve" something to be happy and living the/their best life. You only get one life so do what makes you happy and fulfilled, even if it achieves nothing. I am never happier than playing with my kids and to be honest this is all the happiness I could ever want or need. It will be different things for different people and may evolve over time and that's ok too. It's also all relative so never take anything you do have for granted, what you may have may seem a little compared to some but could be the absolute envy of others so try to enjoy it. Live life, be happy.

@@25johnlowe Funny thing John, I was going to say just that in my response....that some people could be living a fulfilled life by be just being a parent. For my its the simple things after having open heart surgery. Just being alive. The joy of being able to take a deep cold breath of air in the morning. My sister can't do that....she a chronic asthmatic. The most priceless things in life can't be bought or achieved. Love, health, being alive, peace, happiness.

I loved the nutrition advice! It really is so simple but it can be made so complex that you don’t know where to start. The reason most never achieve their goals is likely due to anxiety and a lack of that deeper understanding of what you are trying to accomplish. Great video Mitchell!
