It was an honor to compete against Mitchell. He can definitely contend with the best long drivers in the world. One day it would be awesome to see him make a run at the World Long Drive Championship. As a huge fan of strength sports it’s cool to meet the World’s Strongest Man. Mitchell is such a nice guy in person - truly embodies the LHBK motto. Including the Swingplates shout-out is much appreciated.
To see you be so big and strong yet nimble and all around athletic is truly impressive. Definitely wouldn’t mind seeing some golf content from you

220 ball speed, mate that’s absolutely elite. Great work.
Love the diversity of the content. Wasnt expecting to see a strongmsn hit 380+ at all today, or frankly ever. Great stuff Mitch
Absolute incredible, you are such a inspiration with your atlethic skills. So fun to follow you, all the best in the future!
This was freekin fun bro!! Of course all the dudes would love more long drive/golf stuff from the Strongest King!💪😎👍
Very impressed with the swing!! Way to go. Great technique!
Damn, this is super impressive, I used to compete in LD back in the late 2000s and early 2010s. It's crazy how how good the competition has got, back then then you wouldn't see many guys breaking 210mph until you went to Worlds. I knew you were a good golfer and obviously a great well rounded athlete so to be honest I am only somewhat surprised by your results here but mostly because I would imagine you are giving up a lot of club head speed and flexibility due to the strongman specific training. Wouldn't be surprised to see you compete in LD maybe in the future. Anyway, this is super impressive.
Mitch maybe the greatest all around athlete to ever win world's strongest man. Crazy talented!!!

Congrats on winning the World Strongest Man, Mitchell I was really impressed with how you dominated the field....
You’ve definitely played golf before to hit drives like that , that’s insane for a strongman . Great technique
I don’t know how much time you spent hitting balls before this comp but my impression is if you got semi-serious about it, maybe in the off season, you could become known in the long ball community and open the door to a whole new segment of subscribers. Maybe pick up a sponsor or two.
That is so impressive!! Would love to play a round of golf with you!!
awesome to see u into golf
Would love to see you do a video with borgmeier or Berkshire. Also you have so much to gain technique wise and you already have 210 ballspeed which is insane.
I am utterly amazed that u can drive it that far! Mean no disrespect at ALL. Excess muscles usually hinder distance. U are obviously flexible and have amazing hand eye coordination with good technique. Mad props 👏
Freaking amazing. Well done
Contact Good Good or Rick Shiels or Bob does Sports. I’m sure they would love to have the WSM who can golf and crush the Ball. Good cross over.
Hahah no way, the few months I get into long drive and strongman, you make a video on it. What a life :)
Fun video. Just a point of clarification. The grooves on a driver don't change the spin. The real reason is that it allows finer manufacturing tolerances and less cost. You are trying to get a thin face and maximum COR, and it's harder to achieve that with a durable long drive head if you have grooves. The main purpose of grooves in a golf club is to channel away dirt and moisture to ensure the ball has maximum contact with the face. Just like a car tire channeling away water.
I want to see you try the highland games with the Stoltman brothers
Another pro tip for darts, triple 19 is a better choice in some cases because the miss will grant you more points and the hits are only 3 points off of the trip 20. If you miss 20, you get a 5 or a 1. You miss 19 you get a 3 or 7 💪
Really good hitting from you!!
You should collab with Kyle Berkshire and @thebombersclub for a speed training lesson/session!
It's refreshing seeing a big guy that can actually smash a ball.
Mitchell, could you explain the factors involved in the ability to drive a ball regarding muscle weight + muscle resistance vs. rotational torque and all of that! I'm curious what parts of the body in a strongman that are working against you!
The worlds strongest man just explain long drive like no one else. Thank you
What a legend

Dude I've got the same moose head cover for my driver. How do you get that ball speed most I've gotten is 176? is it just more swings=more speed
Great video .if you would take the club back more you would be in the 150 club head speeds 💪🏻💪🏻
What 's most impressive to me is how that ball takes SO many smashes without failing! Somehow I'd think that there can only be a limited number of times it can be compressed before it starts to lose rebound ability. Slo-mo video shows the ball being compressed nearly in half...that's amazing.
Your content gives so much of that vibe that Jujimufu's content had back when he had Tom around- consider finding a sidekick HAHAHA
Moose bringing the HEAT!!
This video was really good
220 is elite level speed, also noticed you getting a little static at address you wanna keep moving even before you take it back, very impressive though👍fair play
Dude you have to try shot put next. Would be awesome to see how you perform.

Mitchell stands like he's sitting on an elephant but then I realized you're supposed to stand with your feet shoulder width apart lmao
One tip for you I can see from here. I can also drive a ball like no ones business and gained a lot of muscle between my first and best drives. You need to aim AT the ball not through it. It looks like your power is leading in front of the ball. I bet you'd gain more just by trying to imagine you're trying to smash and break the ball not swinging through it. Let the follow through be relaxed from contact forward.
Great swing. Impressive and flexible

Well I've played this game all my life and I know a few things about the swing . This is a superb swing . Period
Usually drivers have a tone of psi in them and hit the ball hard enough they kinda explode thats what i thought was thinking u would have done anyway your awesome dude 😎

This is the one of the most impressive things I've seen. 216 ball speed ...
210mph ball speed is pretty ridiculous, didn’t expect the WSM to have such a swing. Incredible
What an athlete. What an enigma. What an anomaly. What a swing! Mitch surprised me with his first swing. I was expecting a big, strong, man to hack at the ball with something resembling a golf swing. But, Mitchell…nice. We all must remember that this giant of a man is an athlete who just happens to have a modicum of strength.

hell of a swing for a big guy. i was 215 and had a nice swing a few years later i was 270 all i could do is hack at the ball

200+ ball speed? Just muscles don’t get you that. No disrespect but never in my life did I expect to click this video and watch you absolutely stripe it lol
Subscribed. Decent chap and a change from Eddie ‘Twonk’ Hall
Is there anything this man can’t do or hasn’t already done? THE MOOSE FTW
Spin may be more important than most experts are thinking. Without spin, your drives are going to take a nose dive and not stay long enough in the air to carry as is needed for long drives. I started out with a PING I25 8 degree driver on a Fujikura Ventus Red flexible shaft but the ball nose dived on me. When I switched to the Fujikura Atmos flexible shaft my ball stayed in the air and my drives gained an additional 25 yards.
Certainly a higher quality swing than Eddie Hall displayed with Shiels. Mitchell should hit up Kyle Berkshire, he's trying to get stronger to push his limits even further as he thinks he got quite a bit of potential in the strength department. He's actually surprisingly weak in terms of static lifts, really shows technique is king, and speed isn't entirely dependent on strength level.

I wouldn't have expected a WSM to have that level of coordination and flexibility to compete in long drive...no disrespect to strong men, but I also wouldn't expect a pro golfer/long driver to be at all competitive in WSM. Bravo

Yeah with no disrespect intended, just have been a gym bro long enough to spot minor form differences. Your left foot pivots on the heel maybe 30 degrees, meanwhile the gentleman who beat you and the two finalists at the end do some toe pivot with heel cranking "the wrong way" then explosively swing the whole leg out of the way, stepping the foot from 9 to 6
Shocker glove classic
You need to do a video with Bryson Dechambeu that would be awesome You actually sound like him 🤣
