I always get the impression that you feel that we, the viewers, always want to watch ‘A Project’ but in my case, and I’m sure for lots of others, I’m just happy to see what life in Portugal is like, no matter what you do. Planting and picking vegetables, tending to chickens, gardening, playing with your kids, it’s all interesting and different because it’s not what we’re used to. So don’t worry if there IS no project, or that a project is halted for whatever reason, just be you, do what you do, and we’ll be happy to tag along. And I’m GLAD you put the camera down whilst on holiday and focussed on enjoying yourselves, that’s what holidays are FOR.

My heart goes out to you, John, because it’s so frustrating when our bodies aren’t cooperating with our aspirations. You are so smart to listen to your body and take a pause. I’m certain the good people watching the channel will patiently wait until it’s safe for you to resume working on the kitchen. Health first, because w/o it nothing else it possible, i’ve learned the hard way.

Hi John, Hi Tara! I 'm convinced that Crusoe' s enthusiasm, vitality, pleasure is all coming from the way you both have interacted with him, every single day and occasion. And Sawyer is already showing how much he would like to be involved. He's a dear, too.

Hope his shoulder feels better and will not need any surgery. He’s a hard worker but need to take care.

Lovely to see my Portuguese family again. I'm so sorry about John's shoulder. The tingling sensation sounds like a nerve being affected as well. If you put heat compresses remember to alternate with cold...about 10-15 minutes each. Heat brings the blood to the area for healing but cold should keep down inflammation. John please rest your shoulder for a few days. I love to see how Crusoe runs around barefoot without hurting his feet and his chatter is so amazing. Crusoe and Sawyer are such happy little people and you should be so proud of them and Tara also. . It’s down to you both and your wonderful parenting. Just love it. 😘
