It’s kinda a bummer- ok a big bummer, but we are gonna keep on pushing on! Tell me something completely random about last week- like... I ate a ham sandwich on Tuesday. Hahaha! Can’t wait to laugh at the randomness!

People like you are why I'm a nurse. Thank you for the daily reminder.
I am sooo not a medical nerd but for some reason I love hearing about it, also Peter's face was so funny while Mary talked to day you could see his wheels turning and then he was like "see my sweater" and they both started talking about it, so funny, a team
I'm fairly new to your channel and a silent viewer, today I felt like I needed to comment on how inspirational you guys are and when I say that I don't only mean Mary, I mean both of you because when your loved one is struggling with their health you are struggling with them emotionally. And Peter you're an example for all the husbands and boyfriends out there, I know it takes a kind caring heart to do what you are doing by supporting Mary physically and emotionally . I myself have a chronic debilitating illness and my husband works outside of home, and the time he's home I really appreciate how much he does for me and our 4 yrs old son, but sometimes I see the frustration in his face not only because he helps to take care of me on his days off but also frustrated at seeing how much I go through. So I wondering if you guys can make a video on how you guys go through all this and how does Peter deal with it on a daily basis, because you guys look so understanding on how to do it day by day. Thank you and I wish both of you the best☺.

I love roses They did a video on the subject of living with someone with s chronic illness. Look on their past videos
My high school band director, whom I hadn't seen in 40 years, played drums in a kilt at my church today. Bagpipes and drum and Amazing Grace! Awesome.
Peter!!! Sorry I had to say it for Mary, she missed the part where you said “that’s an awkward shot” and I could hear her in my head saying “Peter!!” Like she always does. I adore it! Love you guys. Keep powering through. You got this. Sending love ❤️
I’m a student nurse and LOVE following you guys - not only as a Christian but also seeing things we learn in class coming to life!
Stick thicky mucus at 9:36 made me giggle... that’s a tongue twister. Let laughter be the best medicine while you think bloody thoughts. I have bad reactions to so many antibiotics as well so this makes me so sad that it’s another one you can’t take. Glad you stay positive. Thinking bloody thoughts for you guys!
"Oh that's an awkward shot." Peter says as he's adjusting his zipper 😂

Saturday: The Rebloodening. It sounds like a horror movie XD
When my dad was hospitalized at MAYO for several weeks for MRSA infection, they told us MRSA bacteria is on everyone's skin all the time and just the right injury/cut/sore or weakening of immunity will activate it inside the body and turn into difficult-to-treat infection. Once you've had MRSA infection, very easy to get in the future.

My grandmother got it here in Australia when she had her hip replaced. And boy did she have issues for the rest of her life with it. That's because she went to not such a great hospital that wasn't very clean.

My husband got it several yrs ago. At the time, he didn't know not to break open fire ant bites. We moved from MidWest US (no fire ants) to SE (**MANY** fire ants). He ended up in isolation (I stayed in room), 2 antibiotic lines for 5 days, & surgeon coming in every day to remove infected/dead tissue. It did get in bloodstream up to the knee but GOD was good & the surgeon was top grade - my husband still has his foot as well as his leg. But it was pretty close. Now he has all these protocols to do if he even **suspects** a bite. It scares me until I remember Who is in control!

And not everyone has the same MRSA strain, so my skin's MRSA and your MRSA could not agree and could cause and infection if they mixed. A coworker got an MRSA infection this way.

We think I got it at a water park...I then shared a towel with two other people while there and all three of us got it.
My absolute favorite thing about the Freys is how you can tell they're exactly the same even when the camera is off.
MRSA- methicillin resistant staphylococcus aureus. It exists on the skin harmlessly, but when it infiltrates the skin or other organs, it becomes an infection requiring treatment. I’ve had experience with this, so I know a little about it.
9:36 "...that stick thicky mucus..." I talk backwards all of the time so this made me giggle!
Thank you guys for giving us the medical details! Medical nerd over here lovin it! Prayers your way always you beautiful souled humans!
Your lungs are fighting a big battle. Praying for you. I had to laugh about how you two get side tracked when you telling your story. My husband tells me I do that. He is very patient with me lol. 😀
Keeping y'all on the prayer list at our Church, got an email that our Ollie Boys are on their way, we are excited! Praying you will start feeling better Mary! Love, Kathy & Sydney Adinolfe!
I’m so happy you said the names of the bacteria and drugs! As a want-a-be nursing in a microbiology course it was awesome!
can I just say the reason I love this crazy couple is things like todays vlog...Marys talking about extremely serious health issues and Peter says look guys I wore my Christmas sweater and Mary says I love that sweater and then back to the health issues..prayers Mary
Lupus patients, or prolly anyone immune suppressed get Pseudonomas (PSA). I have learned this bc I've been living with PSA in some non healing wounds since May. I did 3 weeks of merropenem, but it came back. Now it's getting a bit worse and forming abscesses, so it might be back to IV's. It's a nasty little bug in that once you get it, it's darn hard to get rid of it!! But you already know that as you've been living with it for years. But you "just keep swimming!" I pray your blood gets it's act together and tomorrow your blood counts are trending up!
Prayers going up. Big hugs from Texas
MRSA is in the environment everywhere. You can pick it up at the grocery store on cart handles or anywhere else people go. It’s called methicillin resistant staph aureus and for the average person it’s not usually harmful. You could have it and never realize because it would never cause you a problem but when you have it in an immunosuppressed person you can see some real problems. Sometimes it’s just a local infection that anyway can get if it gets into a cut or something like that but in someone like Mary it can easily colonize in mucous and it’s fairly common in the cf world due to all the antibiotic use
MRSA is a staph infection that's become resistant to most antibiotics. Vancomycin is one that usually works on it.
I laughed at your "stick thicky" mucous! LOL. Hoping your blood counts improve!
Random: I stepped out of a truck was not looking and kisses the ground 🤣🤣🤣
Praying for your blood to be really bloody! Love your winter sweater and leggings guys!! Lots of love and prayers! ❤💜🐶
Random: I eat the same foods on a weekly basis and I’m still looking for a place in my career field. Keep fighting, Mary!! MRSA is a cruel bug. It’s resistant to all penicillin antibiotics. Healthcare workers often have it too.
as a nursing student i love watching these vlogs (especially the one about how you feel about questions) because now i have a deaper understanding of how a patient feels. :)
I love how you called me a 'medical nerd'! Keep doing what you think you can't do, y'all
I'm stuck on a train that's an hour late and your vlog came at the perfect time because at least now I have you guys to keep me company :)
Mary and Peter, you are always in my prayers! Thank you for being such an inspiration!
Oh my gosh, your camera focus faces! priceless! 😂😄
Random: I had mini tots for supper. I love Peter’s sweater and the lights in your hospital room! I’m sorry you had to stop the med. Always remember, “GOD’S GOT THIS!” He blessed you with a wonderful husband and of course Oliver!!! You are such a strong person! You encourage me everyday! I pray God continues to bless you so you can continue to bless others! As always, I’ll watch you tomorrow! LOL
Love you guys so much love watching your videos and seeing your positivity! Love your outlook on your diagnosis and living with it ! As an RN I love seeing your medical stuff and watching you learn ! Hope you have a good hospital stay and praying everyday !
Thinking of you and praying for you all
MRSA is also present in abscesses at times and infected cysts, spider bites etc... Strep throat is caused by an overgrowth of group A streptococcus bacteria, as well. So it is present in many things that are not deadly. I really love how you guys explained the situation so we could understand it. I, as you may know, have some brain damage and have issues understanding complex things however was able to stay focused and totally get what you were talking about. Those Olli's are so cute. Wish I could get myself one. *smiles*
Thinking of you Mary. I have been following your journey for over 6 months and I watch daily. I really hope your body and blood plays catch up and you can continue treatment xxxx
Also-- you are my inspiration. I'm post tx but I went through 25 years of what you're dealing with. Your faith in God inspires me :)
Stay Strong Mary!!!! Lots of love!
Mary, we keep praying for you.
I've actually been curious what bacteria you were growing so I appreciated the medical jargon lol. That stinks about the cectaz but I know you are a overcomer and will find a way!

The Frey Life, I just love you all. Praying for you all daily. You are my inspiration. God bless you both.🙏🙏
Praying for a bloody resty day tomorrow!!! Love you both so much!!
Hey Peter, Mary, and Ollie I have been watching you KZread channel for over a year now and I love you guys so much. I want you guys to know you inspire me everyday to keep going. I have a rare disease called eosinaphilic gastroenteritis. I have been fighting this chronic illness for a year now. I am only 15. When I was diagnosed I didn't know what was going to happen. Pain was very mild(which then I thought was horrible). Pain has increased daily and I have had times I just wanted to give up. But I didn't because of you guys. Watching your videos helps me stay strong. Thank You guys so much. I hope you get out if the hospital soon Mary. ❤❤
You both crack me up and are so adorable together. You both have got this. Continued thoughts and prayers. Love and hugs to you all!
Sending prayers. ❤
You are sooo strong Mary!
Prayers your way, love you guys!
What a coincidence that a little while back you talked about Jaquie from Chronically Jaquie and both of you have recently gotten MRSA
Been waiting for your new video all morning! Sending all my love and prayers to you guys!
Sending love from Georgia! I'm a nursing student with a channel of my own!!! Love watching your journey!
You two are amazing and PETER get those tiny room pieces put up! Love watching you!
I think it’s kinda funny both you and Jaquie both have MRSA and are on Vancomycin!
Random: My cat evidentially is getting cold and she likes to hide under my covers in my bed (when it’s all made of course). When I touch her from on top of the covers, she makes the most hilarious noise - almost like she’s startled and she screams lol. 👍🏼 Love you Mary, Peter, and Ollie! 💕
I hope your Sunday was a restful day for your bone marrow! Thanks for keeping us informed. I always learn something from watching your videos.
"Stick thicky mucus"? (9:36) I love it when people say a Spoonerisim.
I'm so glad your team is so awesome.
I love when you tell us all the medical stuff 👍
Mary, Peter and Ollie, I have been watching your vlogs for some time now. I want to tell you that the way you bring God into your life is very inspiring to me. There are ways that I struggle physically, mentally and spiritually. I too believe on, trust in and rely on Jesus for everything in my life! I want you to know that I have been praying for all of you and especially you Mary; for God's peace that passes all understanding, for His comfort and strength for you! You are courageous, you are more than a conqueror in the eyes of the Lord! Claim your victory over all these bugs in your lungs! God has a plan! Recently, I have shared your Vlogs with some friends and family and we are praying for your family together! Perer, you are a rock and a wonderful Godly man and Husband!! I have started to watch your sermons on your vlog! Thank you for sharing your life with all of us, you both are an inspiration!! And PS. I love Ollie!! Blessings, Kelly

And pps... I learned to make coconut curry chicken from your recipe and absolutely loved it!!!
I'm so sorry, Mary, that you are having such a tough time treating these bugs. It sounds to me like you have one heck of a team there to walk thru this with you and help you out. Boy, it's sure easy to be grateful for good medical care, isn't it!? I'd totally love to see how the church turned out with all the lights, Peter! There is something about Christmas lights that just make a person happy, isn't there? I especially love them on churches though. Give Ollie a big cuddle from me. I hope today was a good 'blood recovery' day and that this week things are figured out and go well for you. xoxo Heather🇨🇦
I am praying for you to start feeling better Mary. The only things i know about CF i have learned from your channel so all of this may be normal but finding the right medication to treat your bugs seems so frustrating and scary. I am praying for you guys!! I pray the meds start working and you can get consistent doses to help your lungs heal and you can go home soon. I am so glad that Peter can be with you during this time in the hospital. I have been married a little over a year and your marriage is an inspiration! Being married is awesome!!!! Have a great day!!
Today my blood sugar had been all over the place. I have just had some sugar and now I'm watching your vlog waiting for it to go back to normal. Love you guys 🇬🇧
Peter,,, bleed out from brushing her teeth.....bwahahaha ha ha....you are so funny.
Hi! I'm now coming to terms with the fact that I'm addicted to The Frey Life! One of God's random blessings for sure. I have Muscular Dystrophy and use an electric wheelchair, and because of weak pulmonary muscles I use a ventilator. I can relate to so many of your struggles. My motto is "There's Never a Dull Moment" which kind of references all the stuff one must deal with daily. And yes, I'm in love with Ollie Boy just like everyone else! You guys do encourage, educate (i have red man to Vanc), and the dreaded word "inspire" me. Thanks for sharing your life with us. Loves...
I enjoy medical talk! 😊 I worked s a CNA for 13 years and now I take care of a elderly man that lives with me so I guess I am still working
Rest your blood Mary 💉💕 ( maybe it helps drinking a bloody Mary )😂😂😂
Here is what The Mayo Clinic has to say about MRSA Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) infection is caused by a type of staph bacteria that's become resistant to many of the antibiotics used to treat ordinary staph infections. You are absolutely right it is found a lot in gyms because they tend to have warm moist areas which is where staph likes to grow hence its loving to grow in CF lungs nice warm and moist lungs. People without other health problems and normal immune systems tend to get MRSA from their skin in the form of a boil. CF related questions for y’all. Is pseudomonas an infection that a lot of CFrs get? I’ve seen a couple of other CF KZreadrs that have pseudomonas too. I have a surgically placed catheter in my bladder and tend to grow out pseudomonas a lot when cultures are done. My prayers are with you both and I will pray for good blood too 👍
Bless you all! God is so good!
Prayers for you. 💞
I know this is serious, am sending good, positive thoughts for you guys to get through this. And Mary, you made me laugh when you said "stick, thicky mucous".
I'm LOLing because you said stick, thicky mucus 😁 instead of thick, sticky mucus. I'm pretty sure it's the same thing but it sounded so funny. Love your videos and hope you get some answers and medicines that help real soon.
Hoping you get better soon Mary x
Keep going Mary your one amazing person. I love you all and love watch you both and Oliver everyday. X
Mary is in the hospital and is still drop dead gorgeous! When I’m in the hospital I look like a yeti 😂
Hang in there Mary, Peter and Oliver!❤️
I've been watching you for about 2 years now and I'm in pharmacy school, so I love hearing you talk about the treatments for the different bacterias. PS. Did you see that Kinder eggs are now coming to the US?!?!
Keep up the fight and get better. I'm praying for you.
Thank you for the explanation for this medical nerd!
good to have a team. And...also, everyone seems to be giving it their best guess! My grandmother used to make me eat LIVER as it was supposed to help my "blood". I would NOT recommend eating liver! (I bet it really doesn't help your blood!) But she believed it did, so she made me and my brothers eat it as she loved us so much. But I am glad you have so many on your side....but good luck also. The Lord and those that were inspired to follow the path of education and expense and hard work to work in the field of health, blessings to them. They keep me going and they keep you going. And a good prayer keeps us grateful! Thank you for teaching us more about CF also. There are germs all over. With my medication, I have to constantly hand clean, and had to give up my job with small children. (Germ city). BUT...hope for good news tomorrow! GO BLOOD!
Do you mean to say “stick thicky mucus”? Haha! Love y’all!
Love y’all, stay strong
You answered all my questions, I’m one of those “medical nerds”! I am an oncology nurse, so I love the medical talk and I had been wondering if starting some growth factor for your WBC would be an option. You guys are great! Sending “Neutrophilly” thoughts to your bone marrow! Blessings! Rachel from Seattle
Lots of prayers Mary. Lots of hugs. Get will soon.
Hope you feel better Mary
Love to you both of you from Texas. Mary, you are such a rockstar!!
god bless you guys
Hope you atart feeling better sending prayers your way lots of love from cape breton
Hope u feel better!! I pray for u every single day. With God, all things are possible, so never, ever give up. I love that winter sweater Peter!! And that vest matches it.
Ive heard of MRSA before. My mother in law was in the hospital alot and on strong antibiotcs for it. Then she ended up with cdiff caused from the strong antibiotics. So it was a never ending cycle for her. Peter looks so tired. He needs help with all that hes got going on. Love to both of you.
Hi Mary, I'm that medical nerd... Thanks for the info! Always enjoy watching the vlogs
Thank you guys for explaining that to us. I'm the biggest medical nerd ever!!!
Just love you guys! Feel so dumb to keep posting that, but what can I say? You are lovely people and more lovely together! I send you my love and my good wishes and my prayers!
You both are so sweet! I ate a lot of Mexican food last week! I love it! Enjoying Ollie Bundle!!!
Did anyone catch that Mary said “stick, thicky mucus” at 9:37? Haha I had to go back just to check. Love you guys!

I'm from do Brazil but I love watching your channel! 😉❤God bless you. Deus abençoe vocês, bjs.
My mom's lung Dr said that everyone carries MRSA and that it lies dormant in your body. Certain illnesses can cause it to "activate. And it comes out in different forms. Skin, lungs. Mary, Peter and Ollie I am praying for you and much love sent.
