This game is based off stuff from the scp website. The website is basically a collection of a bunch of short horror stories. What make it unique is that they're all written in a official goverment documentation kind of format, all from the perspective of the fictional scp foundation who's job it is to keep any "anomalous" thing imprisoned and away from public knowledge. Due to the broadnees of the term anomalous it allows all kinds of horror, from cosmic to classic monsters. It's really interesting and people should really check it out.

Bonus Fun fact: The gas mask worn by the Chaos Insurgency is the Israeli Model 4 civilian respirator. Although it is a civilian mask, it complies with NATO STANAG 4155, the order that filter and mask threading is to be made 40mm, allowing for a massive amount of filters to be used with the mask. When these were first deployed in Israel, a large amount of civilians forgot to remove the filter plug and suffocated. Approximately one-hundred died.

Hell yeah you can! Fun fact: The American M9 gas mask has been copied by many different nations with a few copies being: the Yugoslavian M1, the Finnish M61 (manufactured by Nokia, now a telephone company), and the South Korean KM9A1 (fielded by Iraq during the Gulf War alongside the aforementioned Yugoslavian M1). The original M9 masks and their upgraded variants are widely considered to be the greatest mask the US ever produced. The M9 series of gas masks was removed from service in 1997 after being in service for exactly 50 years. These masks are not NATO STANAG 4155 compliant as they have 60mm threading for filters. Not only that, but the original filters contain asbestos.

Botstowo - Those Israeli gasmask also go for ridiculously cheap. If you plan on being in a riot or decently-sized protest, I recommend those or the Soviet PBF gas masks. The PBFs look cool and it's kinda like gambling as nobody seems to be 100% on whether or not their filters contain asbestos. That's half the fun of gas mask collecting!

I do love the way they look and I plan on getting one at some point, but I don't think I'll wear it cause, as you said, nobody has tested it for asbestos and, seeing that all other Soviet filters have asbestos, I would rather play it safe and assume that it does. I would personally use my Soviet PMG because of its ability to intimidate and its NATO-accepting threading. Also it works really well with a rifle.
