The continuation would be Lestat's story The Vampire Lestat with his Mom Gabrielle, his love, Nicky, being a wolf-killer and then into Queen of the Damned which many believe the movie butchered, then continue with his stories, the Body Thief, Memnoch, we are kind of getting Armand's cross story already, then on to Merrick, Marius, Pandora, Blackwood Farm, cross Lestat into the Mayfair witches story and keep this show's writers, then to the final trilogy: Prince Lestat. All the vampires can show up at the end of the episode and tell Daniel their stories. Once Daniel knows all, then Daniel can be turned and then be inducted into the Talamasca and we can cross into their story of all the Supernaturals.

This episode was sooo good…though I’m scared for the next one

When Santiago walked past Armand 🤯 the way that was directed was so amazing! I felt so much dread in that moment and there really is no way going back now . The cast and crew go above and beyond every single episode I swear ❤

This show has made me fall in love with so many characters, even ones I never thought I would even think to.

Show gets better and better with each episode, High Art married with Grand Guignol. Divine!

The ending of this was brutal and made me shed some tears and we’re not even in the thick of it yet.

They definately have done their research with the books as Lestat was involved with the trial in it. I'm drawn in every episode. Can't wait to see more of this masterpiece! Yet Daniel...I hope all will be fine for him.

the glee in the suffering they are about to execute makes this more chilling

There is a reason Lestat called them a "society of monsters" and warned Louis and Claudia to stay away from them. They should have listened. We're going to see how monstrous they can be next episode.

Season two cast did such a brilliant job in bringing one of my favorite chapters in the book alive! I love Delainey's Claudia (I like her better than the other actress, in my opinion), Jacob, Assad, he embodied Armand so perfectly (also he is one gorgeous man), Eric, Luke, the actress who played Madeleine (sorry I don't know her name), and all the actors who were playing the vampires in the theatre and Santiago (again sorry I dont know their names), they were amazing. I don't want season two to end, it was epic, I love it!❤ There are only two episodes to go!!!! I dont know what I will do with my life.... probably read the vampire chronicles again.😂❤

Excellent episode it's just all tension and storytelling I love it

I'm honestly so intrigued, I wasn't so intrigued by first season, but this one... It's like we getting closer to the true layer by layer, pilling it one by one - each episode is like revelation...

Brace yourselves. The trial episode is next!! There's going to be a lot of chaos, confusion, and madness 😅 this was such a great episode though, I can see why Jam said it was their favourite

If Lestat is directly involved with Claudia's trial and death, though, won't that essentially be it for him and Louis? There'll be no coming back. I'm intrigued to see how they handle it and whether all is as it seems.

I don't think so I think Armand is messing with minds, I'm still undecided if the knock out drag out fight between Louis and Lestat over New Orleans actually happened that way or was it all manufactured by Armand to keep Louis.

In the book, Lestat puts the whole death attempt on Claudia at the trial to save Louis, and Armand does nothing to stop the coven from doing what they do to Claudia. They’re both at fault for her death. Louis still stays with Armand for decades before reuniting with Lestat. Louis loves who he loves.

In the books Armand also did some fucked up shit with Claudia and Madeline, experiment to try and give Claudia "grown woman body" but it failed and he resorted to trial and them to sun... I fear that show would be worse...

This episode is beautifully sad. I love Claudia and Madeleine, so much. I love their scenes, but my favorite is when Louis changed Madeleine into a vampire. And we see her life and how she sees the beautiful Claudia, and Louis seeing that Madeleine will make her finally happy, my heart hurts because we know they wouldn't live long as vampires, but I am glad they at least traveled together. And the cafe scene, I might be the only one who had cried. Also, I really didn't care if Lestat came back, I am NOT a fan of the tv version of him (I still prefer Tom Cruise because it was accurate to the book). It wasn't a shocker to me, I knew already. I was like, yeah, whatever. All I know, I am not looking for episode 7, I don't want Claudia and Madeleine to be gone, I loved them, and I know I will cry so hard.
