I recently attended the opening of the Long Lake Hounds formal hunt season which included a blessing of the hounds. Note: this is not a live hunt, no actual foxes are present or harmed.
It’s been 11 years since I’ve photographed fox hunting, so I was pretty excited. I’ve grown a lot as a photographer and looked forward to the opportunity to use the skills I’ve learned over the past decade to document this exciting sport.
In this video, I share a "Behind the Lens" perspective of photographing fox hunting and also talk about which gear I used. I also share the resulting photos with camera settings.
