I wish they had talked about the brake they have on their arm, and what the BAG motor was for, cause I was very surprised when I saw an old brushed motor on a world champion bot and wanted to learn more about it.

The brake is a disc brake, the kind used on bicycles. The BAG motor was intended to activate the brake (typically done by a piston but robot has no pneumatic system). However, constant force springs on the brake ended up being enough to hold the arm up at the beginning of matches, which is all the brake was used for, so the BAG motor is actually not used.

The motor used to power the intake wheels is an Andymark 775 redline
