Got a new job. I'm a brand new C.N.C. operator. It's a fun job. My boss ask me to draw on paper a model of a rolling table with a capacity of 400lb ... 4'x6'...

Sketchup has one of the fastest learning curves among all softwares, it’s not hard to learn but the workflow is also very different than other programs, and it can be a little limited for some advanced modeling
Honestly so stressed trying to learn this. You make it look so easy. But my program is in Spanish on a Mac and Sketch up Pro 2023 (and my Spanish is 70%) and all the windows and icons are different 🫠 ready to launch my mac out the window

Oh I have been there too. Try to practice a lot, eventually you will get the hang of it, it’s a slow learning process so don’t stress out😊

Nowadays some design courses are offered online so that may be a solution if you have a busy agenda, I would definitely explore online courses if I were to study design again
I have skilled in AutoCAD and Revit so are those skills not enough for an Interior designs. I have passed my course in B.A (Honour) in Interior designing,I am facing problem to getting jobs please help me to give some good suggestions for pursuing these career successfuly

Autocad and revit are very powerful skills to have, but showing that you know them in your portfolio is very important, your portfolio is the most important thing when applying for jobs so work on it to make it the best version possible. I ve heard people got jobs without experience because their portfolio was very professional and well put together

hi there, do interior designers earn a lot?
@aandreatru
2 жыл бұрын
Senior designers earn way more than junior or intermediate designers. Once you have 10+ years of experience you are experienced enough to set your fees for a higher profit.
Plz do pencil sketches also🫶it's a request plzplzplz💗

You have to specify whether you're working in feet or inches? That must be so tedious - I can see why the folk at NASA decided to use metric like the rest of the world. Metric is quick, sensible, logical, and doesn't let the numbers get in the way of getting real work done.
@aandreatru

I agree. I prefer meters too.
Why can’t I upload my homes blue print drawings and play with finishes and stuff like that so I can make changes.
