Andrea, it would be great if you make a series for modeling in sketchup, as well as rendering, it would be of immense help to beginners like me!

Interior designers do so much more than people think. I hear the industry is working toward changing the title to "interior architect" and I hope they do. This title more accurately reflects what designers actually do. My annoying ex was a carpenter and he said designers only pick out colors on several occasions. The funny thing is when I decided to begin studying design I had him bring me the binder that designers put together for each and every bathroom and kitchen remodel so I would know what I needed to learn. This binder contained EVERYTHING that all the contractors, plumbers, electricians and project managers needed to know for the remodel. Complete with floorpans, finish boards, and literal instructions for how to do their jobs. The crew would literally need the binder to do everything and would even wait to start a project until they had their turn with the binder! When anything went wrong who do they call? The designer!! I asked my ex how he can look at this binder EVERY SINGLE DAY for his entire career and say that designers only pick out colors? He had no answer and tried to laugh it off. For a few minutes I was full of so much rage I almost cried because I realized it was nothing but misogyny and he resented a woman for literally having to set the blue print for him to do his job. Hence reason #97 why he is my ex.

Wow, thanks for sharing! I totally agree with you, not everyone knows and values the job of interior designers unfortunately :( some people think we only choose cushions and colors. I hope there is an increasing awareness of our careers and people know how complex it actually is. Cheers✨

And I recommend that you should play the game hotel renovator. I've seen so many videos of interior designers playing that game as it really helps you to design the hotel rooms according to the different themes and choices, and u should definitely make a video of urself playing it

If you're shift-clicking a whole lot of objects and you get something you didn't want, you don't need to start again. Just shift-click that object a second time to deselect it.
