Possibly the best explanation of oki and meaty's ive ever seen. It's crazy how little of the terminology is explained on youtube. Very good video dude!

Is the invincible DP during wakeup risky because it can be punished if it misses?

@@VarsonaVyzelta But when you are in a hard knockdown state, if you see the meaty coming, you still need to block high or low depending on the attack? Or the game does it for you? That's the only part that i don't get.

it's this kind of shit that turn people away from fighting games, you need techniques just to get up lol

Yeah...im about to leave this game. I don't have the brain capacity anymore to learn frame data and wake frame data, I was enjoying the game up until this meaty shit started to be a problem in gold rank. I'm on classic controls and was enjoying it up until tonight, lost 6 in a row, all because of meaty/frame data stuff. It's a reason i left the fighting genre years ago, looks like ill be leaving again.

And you'll never be really good... This shit takes time. Stops playing fighting games because he starts losing... It's never been about winning, it's about improvement and enjoying yourself. the people who beat you put the time in to get to that stage, and you'll never get there if you give up
