beo shooter is fantastic for lvl 2 sticky and if you run out you can use your elemental ammo (RF freeze/water) or spread. It also has sleep and paralysis ammo.

Good catch, I forgot about that since I switched to the Garuga lbg.

Normal shots do not have a stun effect, unless you have the impact mantle active.

Did you not read the disclaimer at the start of the vid.

Why use long barrel on the piercing LBG build? Power increases damage for piercing and although the range extension on the long barrel is nice it's not really that much anyway and the faster bullet speed at least in my testing seems to make the bullet leave the target before hitting it less times.

Release jewel is a waste on this build. Ammo up 2 affects level 2 ammos (pierce 2, spread 2, sticky 2 and such). Ammo up 3 only boosts level 3 ammos and all the ammos at the bottom like fire, dragon, slicing. On Nargacuga you're using pierce 2, so the awakening charm is all you need. No need for the last release deco.

What item to make that ammo into blade? You shoot

i think that for fire elemental ammo the cap is always 2 of that element

In the Nargacuga build it's to mitigate the lack of jewel slots. The vit mantle has a long uptime compared to other mantles so having tenderizer active during that time is very helpful when you have a lack of jewel slots and since you can upgrade it early it goes well in that build.

@@merrickdougherty9082 "Beginner to Iceborne" doesn't mean "10,000+ hours in base game" automatically, goober. Especially with the new Defender weapons being meant to boost new players from base game to Iceborne quickly, a large chunk of the "new to Iceborne" player base won't have decos like that

@@Zolanark truly, I still have yet to find an "actual" beginners build that has a beginners LBG someone can actually craft! All these builds have guns inaccessible until later in the game!

beginner friendly... all the rare high rank jewels. what about the people who just bought the bundle and don't have all these 1% and even 0.4% RNG jewels.

Even without the gems the armor sets themselves provide enough boosts to get you through the beginning of the game. You'll probably collect alot of these gems along the way

I ran into a similar issue - you can just make the alpha version for less slots and more skills if you are low on decorations.

I hate to be mean but you couldn't try making some mixed sets instead? This guide isn't that useful because all you're really doing is saying "hey go build this monster's entire set"

This is a Early Iceborne Campaign builds video, specially aimed towards newer players who just finished the Base world campaign. And plus, no one wants to hunt in a clown suit. When you just started Iceborne you really don’t have any layered armors, so it’s easier to just wear a full set. Also, the builds are more focused around jewels and play styles. If you want mixed set builds go look at his other end-game LBG builds. (It really isn’t that huge of a deal what set you use for the campaign, as long as you have enough armor-spheres to keep your armor tough enough.)

this man assumes we have all these gems and mantles its beginner you rarely get gems base game
