A tip to creating better-matched 3D objects into your footage is to recreate the exact materials and objects surrounding the object, then set them all to shadow catchers. That what you get much more accurate bounced lighting, and the won't appear in your final footage, just the light they reflect onto the object. I do that for all floors/ground, walls, anything that I think would be relevant enough in bounced lighting

When I render the animation it doesn’t include the video in the background. Although I did skip all the lighting stuff because I don’t need it, so is there a way around it or do I just have to suck it up.

guys i have a problem for some reason my camera is always shaky after setting up scene my solve error was 0.17px

4:33 i am just getting a pink background, what did i miss? EDIT: no clue what i did, but its fixed! for others with this issue, try looking at the file location that blender is getting your footage from. i just clicked it and it fixed itself.

most important part is to save the goddamn file before rendering :)
