Do yourself a favor and put a ground control feather lite frame with dead wheels. Much harder and you’ll grind much easier.

Stock wheels are pretty much always trash unfortunately 😔 I've had some decore in the past as well, tbh I just sell them and buy aftermarket wheels before using skates nowadays. Can't go wrong with Undercover wheels if you're looking. Saying all that I'd hit up inline warehouse and they might give you more wheels and they'd definitely send you a UFS bolt. Nice skates, I like the yellow and black!

I used to shred Airborne Skate park back in the late 90’s in a Michigan. It’s amazing the shit you forget when your 43 and haven’t skated since 2003. All of it was sooo easy and seemingly second nature then. How can time make things that were once so easy seem sooo hard now? It’s fucking weird. I used to slam vert ramps. Now I even get on one and look down I’m like “how the fuck did I do that”?

Roces M12 is a classic skate that is usually very inexpensive. Just make sure you get wheels that are rated for your weight!

I just got mine from amazon for 127 dollars in the US. Amazon has one similar to these but the are aggreso skates made of recycled materials. There's no way I would pay 170 dollars for colored versions.

Problem is Inline Warehouse will put together custom setups at folks request. They'll take the boot, outfit it with aftermarket frames, liners, wheels, bearings ect & then they'll take all the stock parts & toss those on a boot & put it up for sale on the bargain rack & market it as an "IW exclusive". Look at what you got there. Basic M12 boot with generic junk frames. Cheap Inline Warehouse replacement liners that weren't meant for aggressive skating. Stock Roces wheels which are junk. They probably stuffed them with generic abec 3 bearings. That's NOT how those come out of the box. You got exactly what you paid for. That's not on Roces, hell... that's not even on IW. That's on whoever the consumer is that doesn't know what they're getting themselves into. That skate is a Frankenstein of parts they put together from the junk bin. There's a reason why those are$160 & the Pro Version are $400.

So your saying rollerblading is an overpriced sport with a high barrier to entry and there's no point in getting into it unless I plan to lose hundreds of dollars on plastic wheely shoes... Thanks for the comment. I think I'm going to give up on this hobby, actually. Only yuppies can afford inline skates and that's probably why skateboarding overpowers us. Inaccessible sports don't deserve to survive if they can't figure out how to accommodate athletes. No wonder inline skating has been dying since it began. This is not exactly a great way to welcome people into the sport.

@@gummywormjim yeah, that's exactly what I'm saying. The perfect translation of what I was trying to articulate. Let's break it down, shall we? You bought a skate from a manufacturer that left the market over 2 decades ago once the numbers started dwindling. Then they made a triumphant return when it started trending again with the same 30 year old mold to appeal to the nostalgia market. We're talking a skate that was never intended to be used as an aggressive skate to begin with. It's just retrofitted with aggressive skate components after the fact aka a money grab. In addition, you purchased it from a retailer that doesn't represent the Rollerblading community nor gives a rat's ass about the members of that community who Frankenstein'd the skate even further. Meanwhile there's company's that never left the industry even through the leanest of times like USD & Razor that make proper entry level skates that have evolved over the past 30 years. Affordable skates in the same price range such as the Razor Shift & USD Sway which were designed from the ground up specifically for aggressive skating with the beginner in mind but good enough for sponsored pro riders. So in short, you got bamboozled by the money grabbing corporate d-bags so in turn, cast judgement on Rollerblading as an entity for being an overpriced sport where you have to fork over buckets of cash to get a proper experience in order to deem whether it's worthy of your allegiance? Then take your uneducated & I'll advised review, release it to the masses where it'll be consumed by those not in the know & take what you say as gospel. Good job.

@@apexpredator_jku so your argument is that I've been scammed because I don't know enough about inline skates to make educated purchases... Like I said, high barrier to entry and, based on this interaction, a very pretentious and unwelcoming community. In the skateboarding community, they usually call out scammers and that's what I was attempting to do here, but I guess I'll keep it to myself, since you dislike it enough to write paragraphs in my comment thread. Enjoy being a hardcore inline skater. Apparently, I'm too dumb to enjoy the sport.

@@gummywormjim ok. fair enough. four sessions is not much, but I can see how much wear you have done to those wheels already. No way I could put that much wear on Roces m12 wheels in four sessions. I have M12 wheels. I know they are mediocre stock wheels. bit I think the frame is the biggest issue with those particular Roces M12. That low end Roces frame is very poor quality. Probably a piece of the frame was rubbing on the wheel. I've had that issue happen. I use the Roces frame found on the team and pro Roces skates. This frame is also cheap. Can be found for $20, but it is leaps and bounds superior.
