Apparently Danny Devito is the guy being electrocuted in that split second shot. Knowing he and Keaton are in a movie together hits me in the feels. Batman Returns is one of my favorite comic book movies of all time. This trailer was fantastic. I’m sold.

It is! If you pause the trailer at 1:30 you can clearly tell. Devito and Keaton were also in Dumbo together, by the way! Also, you are a man of exquisite taste! Batman Returns is my favorite Batman movie, period.

The trailer was SLAMMIN!!! This was Tim Burton's baby when it first came out. So the fact that they have him back and some of the OG cast back is great. I see the practical effects but I'm sure they will use a teen tiny bit of CGI. Either way, it looks like it'll be a cool sequel to the original. They should bring back the cartoon show like Marvel did for X-Men 97. They can just call it Beetlejuice 89 or some shit like that. LOL.

I've been waiting for a sequel since I was a teenager. Tim Burton better not let me down with this.

Oh man. UAPs brought me to your channel but Beetlejuice is one of my favourite movies of all time. As a massive fan I'm totally onboard with this new one. Never saw it coming, so glad it is! 😎

I've only been waiting 36 years for this, trailer looks brilliant, Beetlejuice seems to have taken over Juno's role, all looks fantastic... I cannae wait to see this in the cinemas at least 3 times!

I love that it’s called, “Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice”. It’s brilliant. It’s got me thinking, does that mean there’ll be a third? Or can there now can never be a third? Or if they do make a third, will it bring about the downfall of all humanity, destroying the separation between the living and the dead, reality and the illusion, chaos and order? .. It looks like they’ve done a good job and stayed true to the original. I want to go in with low expectations and have them blown away. Looks like so much fun though. Here’s hoping 🤞 🎉

I think they positioned it in September to get an initial run, and then have a second life as Halloween hits. I think it’s a smart place to release for this type for movie

That was a good trailer, and it definitely looks and feels like Beetlejuice, so thank goodness. The trailer played silky smooth in your video Kristian, but for some reason, you were buffering or glitching, it was very Wallace & Gromit. Not sure if it was just me, or if anyone else experienced this.

There's also Beetlejuice the animated series made back in the 90s and I highly recommend it.

This looks AMAZING !!! Sequel to the Cult classic film… sign me up 🔥 One of my most anticipated movies in 2024 (after Dune 2 and Furiosa).

The juice is loose , so excited for this movie ,it looks great , Beetlejuice is a iconic film and character it has a huge culture following juge fan of keaton and this film is one of my all time favorite films , so hyped

love Kristian Harloff this guy is just Kool.

Gonna make a prediction for this… not only will it make $500M worldwide but I think it will make $1B! This movie gives off Barbie vibes in the sense of its potential cultural impact on film and entertainment and I for some reason think it’ll make that much money.👍

Just watched the trailer for it and I love the original and when we saw the teaser trailer I was excited but this trailer just didn't hook me the way I hoped I can't really explain it but we are still going to go and see it when it comes out

It doesn't look bad at all. Hopefully we get some time for Keaton to go 10/10 crazy.

There are a lot of great things here that do absolutely look like they were built practically and shot in camera. That said, it's funny that people keep raving about the "practical effects" and saying things like "that's the only CGI shot" here. Did we watch the same trailer? There's CG all over that thing. I like it. It looks great. But come on. Beetlejuice's eyes popping out, the sandworm shot, the bug on the desk, the smoke in the waiting room, the electric effect, the wall explosion... Just off the top of my head after seeing it. I'm honestly just kind of sick of constantly hearing about how amazing "practical effects" are and how "CGI sucks" when there is CG everywhere. It's everywhere. There are so so many below the line people doing unsung work for third world wages who are just being erased. It's not okay and if you appreciate the people who make the movies you enjoy you should give them as much credit as everybody else. Yes, give credit to the practical artists who made the practical elements they did. But please stop marginalizing the VFX artists. They're doing a lot more than you think. I guarantee they are

It appears that Beatlejuice is an afterlife councilor - probably because he gotten eaten by a sandworm in the end of the last movie - which puts him in a servitude role for X many years.

Looks awesome, but I kind of wish it was coming out a little later in September or early October. I feel like it's more suited for a date when Fall is in full swing and Halloween is a little closer. We're still technically in Summer by September 6th. I don't know, that's just a thing with me. Nevertheless, I'll still be there opening weekend. I finally saw the first one a few years ago and a really liked it, so I'm definitely looking forward to this one.

Please, please, check out Studio Ghibli's "My Neighbor Totoro" and "Kiki's Delivery Service" with your kids. They're just the right age and I think, as a dad, you'll really appreciate these two movies.

Still trying to reserve judgment on this one. The slightly negatives, for me, are Jenna Ortega's casting (she doesn't need to be in everything), and not seeing much here that's particularly funny. I just have a feeling it's going to be one of those sequels that took way too long to come out and won't be worth the wait. Could be wrong though.

Have you not noticed that every character has to wear the same clothes they did 30-40 years ago? Axel F, Indiana Jones, Maverick etc. It's just a silly part of all these legacy sequels

I'm not sure about this one. I think that they waited too many years to do a sequel. Also, this Beetlejuice doesn't seem as obnoxious, etc. Maybe the Duffers should have gotten involved. This seems like it's going to be too silly

It looks like trash, just goes to show how nostalgia blinds so many people. Unlike xmen97, beetlejuices sequel looks nothing like the tone of the first or feeling due to cinematography, digital cameras, and weak 1st takes. Also everything they shown were weak cgi versions of the og. I feel its gonna go the matrix resurrections route in quality and reception.

if you pause and look at the lady with the sewn up face (Monica Bellucci) when she's holding up her hand to the side of her face you'll see she's missing her ring finger. as in the finger from the end of the first movie. thats his ex(?)-wife. Plus, when he lite his thumb and blew the wall open doesn't that remind you of the Cartoon? 80s Winona Ryder was the goth girl 90s was Christina Ricci '00s was still Christina until Angelina Jolie did her goth type style i didnt like it but to each their own we really didnt get a good goth girl celeb in the '10s but here in the '20s its Jenna Ortega

I was so looking forward to this. Saw the original in theaters 7 or 8 times as a kid. This trailer feels meh at best. The cgi plane and sand worm looks terrible and the makeup on his face is off. The eyes are too large. I hope I’m proven wrong but not so sure about this one.
