This trailer kind of reminds me of what they did in the cartoon. I'm really looking forward to Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.

That's such a good point - I had completely forgotten about the cartoon, but it was surprisingly good!!!

In one of the last scenes in the 1980s Beetlejuice. Pay close attention to the book that Charles Dietz is reading. It’s a book about the living and the dead coexisting together.

Great reaction! I am so pumped for this film. Willem Dafoe like y'all said, doesn't need any makeup to be creepy. I am so excited!

Thanks so much for the kind words! And likewise - I really think this is going to give people what they're hoping for, a great time, and an original story with lots of fun references to the first movie!

You know, I'd completely forgotten about that cartoon until watching the trailers for the new movie, but am rewatching it now. It still holds up pretty well!!!

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, or Deadpool And Wolverine? I wonder which movie everybody's more hyped to see. Also the first "B Man movie" was released on March 30th, 1988. I think people just think of it as a Halloween movie, because it's only ever been on TV channels in October. Well that, and it's a movie about Ghosts. But so is the movie Ghost, and that's a romantic drama movie!

WB owns Beetlejuice and Joker. Joker is coming out in early Oct so they probably didn’t want to put both in the same month

Ah, very good point! Shame, I'm far more excited about Beetlejuice than Joker, and would love to watch it around Halloween! Maybe it will still be on, or already moving to streaming around then...

Nice reaction video. What Ellie said about it is on a fine line of showing too much is what I thought also. Astrid is Lydia's daughter in this film. I think it will be a fun film and I am glad they are doing this with the stop motion animation and practical effects again just like they did in the first one. It should be interesting how this story plays out.

Thank you! Yes, completely agree about practical effects and stop motion! Funny that they could have spent a bunch of money on CGI and had it look incredibly smooth, but I much prefer having the stop motion as a call-back to the original movie! Nostalgia for the win!

theory time.... the plane crashing is unmakedbut white with a red stripe....much like the uniforms of the football playerswho died in a plane crash in the first movie......I dont think thats a coincidence

Oh wow, good theory, that sounds very plausible!!! I was also thinking that the plane CGI looked a little weird, almost intentionally so, and I wondered if that might be to make it look more at home with the stop-motion and practical effects in the afterlife... I guess we'll find out in a few months!

if you pause and look at the lady with the sewn up face (Monica Bellucci) when she's holding up her hand to the side of her face you'll see she's missing her ring finger. as in the finger from the end of the first movie. thats his ex(?)-wife. Plus, when he lite his thumb and blew the wall open doesn't that remind you of the Cartoon? 80s Winona Ryder was the goth girl 90s was Christina Ricci '00s was still Christina until Angelina Jolie did her goth type style i didnt like it but to each their own we really didnt get a good goth girl celeb in the '10s but here in the '20s its Jenna Ortega
