Awaking of cheerful feelings on hearing Beethoven again...
This is peak classical music. Shoutout to Burt Hara for those fantastic solos!
I love it. Thanks Gustavo and the LA Phil for it,
Gustavo Dudamel con la sua grande sensibilità interpreta la "Pastorale" con LA Phil....
Very nicely to hear this symphony from the Maestro, conducted by the passionate Dudamel! Thank you for sharing! Bravo to the orchestra!
Beautiful Maestro
Perfect tempo, nor too fast, not too slow.
looking forward to the whole symphony.
Somehow pastoral is just the perfect name for this confluence of wind & strings!
Συγκλονιστική η παρουσία του Gusavo!
Hermoso! 👏👏👏👏
Now imagine he conduct the 4th movement of Beethoven's 6th symphony
LA Phil always sounds like a studio orchestra to me. Which makes sense, many of the members are involved in recording Hollywood scores. But they do not have an individual sound the way Chicago or Berlin do, it sounds like a bunch of studio players swooping in for a few concerts and playing very accurately, but without a lot of feeling or connection with one another
The Tempo of the 2nd movement can be derived from the bird calls, especially the cockoo.
Complete please! 🙏
Formidable orquesta y Dudamel bárbaro

Why this point thas been posted here? You aren't pleased with the amazing musician, the great teacher Dudamel? Your unfriendly remark makes me sad, may you erase it? please; or do explain yourself at least, although you're entitled to your opinion((

So unBeethoven...it could only be Beethoven. Every time Beethoven is played, I just dont understand how that level of perfection is created....but I thank God. This is probably his 'worst' Symphony....and it is perfection. The recapitulation is just ridonkulous...its like Ludwig knew something no one else could possibly know....

Worst? It's my favorite, but I 100% understand what you mean.
