The "stomps" , the beat, was created by Maurice in his Miami garage, banging garbage can lids that he recorded. The record company hated them and wanted them off but they refused to delete it.

Nr. 1-Banger all over Europe, Australia, Asia and Southamerica as well. Poor US missed it because of silly radiostations stucked still in backballing them. But two years later, they also came back into Billboard-topten there with another great song, called 'One'.

"Yes" the Barry man had it "ALL"!

Sadly this one is lip sync and not actually live, but rest assured they sounded exactly like that live. Barry has a great voice but so did Robin. Robin had a vibrato that is unmatched the way Barry had an unmatched falsetto. Maurice was the glue and brought the funk. That stomp beat was his genius. Maurice was also a master harmonizer and had a super smooth, deep voice but could also do short high falsetto. Check out "Nights on Broadway - The Midnight Special 1975."

@@DailyTayTV - I second her request of "Nights on Broadway". You should also check out some of Robin's many leads like "Juliet" (live in Berlin 1991) or "Fallen angel" . His iconic trademark song was "I started a joke" (Melbourne 1989, "One for All" tour). Their live performances were awesome. Real pros who sang professionally since the twins were 9 and big brother 12.
