I listened to "Run to Me" this morning, and I'm guessing thousands of times since 1972. There are no words for the harmony. Oh, Barry's voice is soft, gentle and perfect, but it takes all three for the awesome blend. There's just nothing better than the 3-part harmony at "Now and then you need someone older..."

Pure magic! Having Barry and Robin, both of them with such greatness at all. And brother Maurice to land again a heavenly three part harmony. Noone compares to them!

Hey Devin, the harmony in this song ...absolutely divine 😇 the Bee Gees never disappoint! "Love so right "and "Alone " are a couple of good songs to show off their awesome voices. 🎼🎶😌

The best songs are those where Robin and Barry alternate leads like they do here. Barry does the verse and the Robin does the chorus..."Run to me whenever you're lonely, run to me if you need a shoulder". Then Mo joins in with the perfect 3rd harmony. Barry and Robin wrote this, "Lonely Days" and "How can you mend a broken heart" shortly after they got back together after being split for 18 months.

@@Coowallsky - Originally Barry was writing one of the songs himself one night, I can't recall which. Robin came in when he was working on it and Barry asked if he wanted to help him so they worked on both songs together together then calling Maurice to come and add his bits. Like your name. 😁

I'm glad you recognized the amazing harmonies in this one. One of my favorites of theirs harmony-wise. The first chorus, "now and then... you need someone older, so darliiiiiii-ihn, you run to meeeeeeeee." Simply HEAVEN. You really want to react to EVERY Bee Gees song? Settle in my friend. The rabbit hole is DEEP. These guys are AWESOME and had a 5 decade recording career.

Love the Bee Gees they are the greatest group ever. I have listened to them all my life. Barry and his beautiful wife Linda have been married for 51 years. That certainly is commitment. They have 4 boys and 1daughter. I am amazed a what their lives have accomplished. Love your reactions Devin!!

Love this song. Bee Gees music has been a great comfort to me during my recent illness. This song and "Come on over" have been an invitation to go down the Bee Gees rabbit hole; thanks so much for your joyful and insightful reviews of their music.

Definitely welcome to the very large rabbit hole that is the Bee Gees. The brothers three way harmony has never been equaled and doubt it will in my life time. I grew up listening to the bee gees and what you hear is pure unadulterated talent. No autotune or any of the touch ups that today's artists rely on. If you get a chance check some of their acoustic / acapella sets or live concerts. I sent my brother an email one day, he cursed me for days for as he put it "sending him down the rabbit hole"! I just giggled. The brothers were prolific song writers, writing for artists such as Diana Ross, Dionne Warwick, Barbara Streisand, Celine Dion, Olivia Newton John. Before he passed Robin had written a classical piece the Titanic requiem I haven't had the heart to listen to it yet maybe it's time I did.

There's absolutely 💯 no other band that can harmonise like the Bee Gees
