I did what you asked, and stayed to the end ... you always look great but at the end you had what I reckon is easily you're best look on camera ... short trimmed beard and hair shaved at the sides ... you should keep this look and perhaps lose the cap, or take it off half way through, and you look amazing in singlets/ tank tops showing off you're arms & body. I know you don't make much income from UTube, but you should have a hell of a lot more Subscribers because you're the sexiest looking presenter of any on here. Cheers mate!

In 1967 Robin and his wife to be were in a bad train derailment during which 48 people died on the train and others later from their injuries; he helped some people out until the emergency people found them and he and his fiancee were sent to hospital. From that point Robin always wrote songs with pathos. Being his twin Maurice stood up at home and said to Barry 'Something has happened to Robin!' they put the news on and saw the derailed train and collected them from the hospital. Separate from this my husband is Autistic does not comprehend jokes and if he tries to be funny it always goes badly wrong; in normal conversation he cannot read a room and often says the very worst thing possible. It is normal for him to worry himself awake for weeks trying to work out what went wrong. He often thinks of death and dying. This song could be a day out pf our lives. I am neuro-typical it is a marriage God has blessed as many thought it could not exist.

Devin Reacts - As I commented elsewhere here, Robin said this song WAS very spiritual to him. He was a very deep thinker even as a child and a loner who found it hard to communicate with others. He was very sensitive and always worried about how others perceived him. The gist of the song is how we fit in the world, how we see ourselves and how others see us. He requested this to be played at his funeral. It was his trademark song. To this day in concert Barry sings the first 2 stanzas and then a video of Robin comes up with him singing the rest.

Robin said he left it up to interpretation. At one time long ago he alluded it was about religion. You should check out a live version, especially in later years. Robin always gets a standing ovation. The Bee Gees were the best group live, nothing compares. They are one of these rare groups that sound the same and sometimes better live then recorded. All three have great solo voices, but together they are magic.

Another way I've interpreted this song is that it wasn't something "said", but what one has "done". Their actions hurt the ones around them and over time the person who did the hurting has to now live with the pain and regret of hurting the people he once cared about. Some things (relationships) can never be brought back to how they once were.

While I agree with you that the Bee Gees were excellent live I think that there were also other performers that were equally good or possibly a bit better. Freddie Mercury (Queen) was the best front man constantly engaging with his audience and they loved him. How many other bands do you know that when they get on stage the fans sing their songs to them word for word. He loved them too and it showed. The Beatles also had a great presence on stage with the girls screaming and swooning, fainting and being carried out. They had concerts where they sat in their group and fans came on stage and stood with them singing. the Bee Gees, The Beatles and Queen all had something that not many other bands had. They had certain movements or looks that meant something and all the other members knew what to do without anyone noticing their gestures. You know you are listening to a legendary band when they had what these 3 bands had. There are others that were extremely good too like Led Zeppelin but not quite to this perfection.

I just wish it was a bit longer, it's short and over before you know it. And you should stop apologising for getting things wrong, because you don't, you're usually spot-on because you take the time to do a bit of research, unlike most others. You work your audience hard with lots of animation and enthusiasm, which is refreshing!

The BeeGees stated several times that they did not want to interpret their songs publicly, they wanted everyone to find their own meaning in the words. Teen-age girl music? With lyrics and harmony this complicated? No way. This song became something of a signature song for Robin. In concert it was usually done as a solo. Barry has stated that some of the songs that Robin sang or had a large part in writing he will never sing on stage, that it just wouldn't feel right. Although this one he did, during his 2014 tour, as a very special tribute.

He was definitely a fantastic singer that I so wished had of had more solos. Please check these out. Love you show.

This is Robin singing the lead just to let you know when the Bee Gees first started out Robin sang the lead on everything and then eventually it started moving over towards Barry once they found out Barry had this awesome falsetto up in the high register that changed to Bee Gees forever but let there be no doubt Robin was a great lead singer and he is a great lead singer on any part of any song that he sings he's a great talent as a matter of fact the record companies broke the Bee Gees up for about a year or so there because they was trying to turn them all into a solo Acts and Robin bought into that and when he got out on his own he saw that he wasn't doing as well as they did as a group and finally they made amends and got back together again. The very first song that the Bee Gees did after they got back together again was one of my all-time favorites and great song to talk about the breakup and then getting back together again but the name of the song is How Can You Mend a Broken Heart. I hope you'll view that sometime and review it because I think you'll love it and I also love Al Green's version of How You Mend a Broken Heart it's a cover for him to be g's created it but Al Green does a very good rendition of that song himself as you can tell I'm also a Big Al Green fan and if you like R&B you got to check out my my couple favorites The Temptations and The Stylistics they're both very good.

Crazy Reactions - Everyone who knew Robin said he was mentally far more mature and philosophical than either of his brothers and at a very young age. For example, he wrote "I am the World" as a young teen. The general interpretation of the song is considered to be about how someone fits in the world, how others see them and how they perceive themselves. Robin was a loner and had a very hard tome communicating with people according to his first wife so those lyrics fit his personality completely. He always was unsure of his place and, being very sensitive, worried how others perceived him. Barry said he was always deep in thought and worried enough for all of them. As a result some thought him unfriendly but once they knew him well, he was very kind and caring, perhaps too much so. This trademark song of his did mean something to him or it would not have been his request to play it at his funeral. He said the song was very spiritual to him so that tells me it WAS deep.

Great reaction. To Love Somebody is such a special song…so simple, and so perfectly written. *Edit/oops, thought I was commenting under your previous BeeGees video.* Some great and sometimes overlooked Bee Gees songs come from the early-mid 70s, a few years before Saturday Night Fever hysteria. A few of my favorites to try: Mr. Natural, Dogs, Fanny (Be Tender With My Love), Jive Talkin’ (this was a #1 I think, so not overlooked, but I didn’t see it on your playlist) and, if you have a taste for the (very) off beat, try Paper Mache, Cabbages and Kings, 😂

No one knows what it means, lol, but Robin said once that it had a spiritual significance for him. This song was also requested wherever they went :)

Better version...THE BEST....live in Melbourne "All for One" concert in 1989. They were a bit over the hill in Vegas. Did not like that concert at all. kzread.info/dash/bejne/fZ-evK2potunlKw.html

The song is about a joke Robin made about the band breaking up in 1975. They actually did for a few yrs. Got back in 77.

Marita Mcnichol - Absolutely untrue. Where did you get this information? It had a much deeper meaning. Robin was a loner, had trouble communicating with other people he did not know well and often felt out of place so the song was about how people (including himself) fit in the world, how they see themselves and how others see them. He said this song was very spiritual to him so it would not be about a joke. He wanted this played at his funeral so again, not a joke! The band did NOT break up in 1975 and regroup in 1977. They split briefly in 1969 and got back 18 months later and not "a few years" later.

I never really quite understood the lyrics to this song even when it was explained to me I think it’s a mystery but maybe it’s my menopausal brains not functioning correctly.

The brothers Gibb were amazingly taleted. Robin, Mauriice, Barry and Andy. Sadly only Barry is still with us.They have a sister still wih us, Lesley, and the Force is strong with her. Not sure if she ever sang in public.
