A bit of a background on that song. Paul had a dream about his deceased Mother, and she came to him in this dream. She told him that there is not always an answer to why things happen, such as the loss of a loved one. Rather than trying to come up with an answer, Just, "Let it be" "Let it be". That is the answer. So he wrote this song about it. It is best to use this, and sing it sometimes.

For American kids born in the 60s and growing up in the 70s, the Beatles was the alpha and omega of pop music. This was my first favorite band. I still know virtually all of their songs, and most of the words to all of their songs. It is impossible to overstate the cultural influence of the Beatles on the English-speaking world (and beyond).

This song is the result of a dream that Paul had. Paul as dealing with a lot of stress in his life, his mother (Mary who died when he was a boy) came to him in a dream and told him to just "let it be" and all will work out fine. Paul felt that very comforting and wrote this song.

Are you talking about all the Russian girls or just the ones in the European part of Russia? Like you I'm kind of sure you think Russia is one country I just watched the video on why Russia is so damn large. It turns out Russia is really hey unified country that is similar to the United States where the USA has 50 independent states the central government only represents the states two other countries and uh unified central government for military protection and certain regulations and other laws each state has its own independent laws states in the US conduct trade with other countries independent from the federal government. Simerly Russia is made up of 25 autonomous republics with their own legislatures in laws Russian republics are in Europe the Middle East which is part of Asia and the Far East part of Asia at one point in time Russia starts out in Europe and heads east so Far East the most eastern point of Russia is also the most western part of Russia the state of Alaska which was bought by the United States from Russia.

Yes, I love The Beatles. I'm so happy that you are enjoying this iconic band. I'm 44 and my parents raised me to love and appreciate music from our past. I was 10 when I first listened to their music. "Let It Be" was my favorite from childhood. "Peter, Paul, and Mary" made a song called Lemon Tree. "Fools Garden" also made the song. You could be thinking of them, Irina. I don't remember The Beatles making the song. I'll have to check their discography (album list). Hope you are having a blessed and fantastic week full of happiness! Oh yes, I will gladly share my book with you once It is finished. I'm working on the 10th chapter today. If you were here with me I would make you a big plate of Italian lasagne. Go get some good food! haha I'm snacking on apple cinnamon rice cakes topped with peanut butter. So good. Lovely nails!🌻❤️☕

I'd say Beatles, Stones, Zep, Who are the Rushmore w/ Sabbath, prolly Aerosmith, and others according to taste are a reverse Rushmore. God, love CCR. Re-watched "Twilight Zone: The Movie" (1983) just recently and it had "Midnight Special" in 2 scenes. Lithgow to Aykroyd: "I loooooove Creedence..."

Beautiful as ever. If you can, you need to see their movies "Hard day's night" and "Help." HDN is the lads being themselves while on a fictional tour. Help is similar but also has a plot following a ring that Ringo puts on.These movies are from 1964-1965. " Let it be" is like a rockumentary. More people are discovering that they've heard the Beatles without knowing it. Love your hat. Hug Montana.

Given the Beatles' core commitment to peace, anti-racism, and World Culture, what might they (or the reviewer) think of current events west of Moscow? Lennon had a riff on that, "Just Gimme Some Truth."

The album "Let It Be" was unfairly criticized by...well, critics, simply in comparison to some of their other arguably greater albums. Critics are critics, but AAAA-NEE-THING done by The Beatles is iconic. But for me, "Let It Be" is probably my fave or 2nd fave album of theirs. I love the song "Dig A Pony" (which Lennon called a rubbish song, it was unfortunate that he said that about many of his excellent songs because he was quite probably the GOAT songwriter/lyricist from about 1950 to now.) Some others like David Bowie are on his echelon, but John even stated that writing songs was nothing to him. He just had a mind that could produce one interesting concept after another. But I digress. I love "Dig A Pony", "I've Got A Feeling", "Get Back" and "Don't Let Me Down". "Feeling" is a fave of mine because, in their entire catalog, songs where 2 Beatles had different singing pieces in the song (not counting harmonies w/ 2 or more). "A Day In The Life" w/ John's and Paul's separate parts and "Feeling" are two of a few examples of that. "Let It Be" isn't even my favorite song, but it's a pretty one, no doubt.

My head was boiling by the end of the post. ;-) On a heavier note, the opening line when Paul sings "When I find myself in times of trouble, Mother Mary comes to me" he was talking about his own mother who died when he was just 14. People sometimes think it is a religious statement.
