Dude in the original teen titans he’s from a are bigger than the cartoon versions

It's cool that they're going along with the comics by making him only able to transform into a few animals before he learns his powers. But the least they could do is actually TRY to animate something that doesn't look like total shit. Plus the fact that he has to get naked everytime he transforms is realistic but just unnecessary.

@@TheUnseenPath The tone of the show is supposed to be more realistic, so I understand why his clothes rip. To me though it just seems like a weird addition. Take this scenario for example; it's season 4, Beast Boy has good control over his powers and can transform into some badass shit like a gorilla or maybe even a dinosaur or two, he unveils these new transformations during a major fight against a popular villain and kicks the villain's shit in. Wouldn't it kind of mess with the tension or excitement of the battle if the second he turns back into a human he is just standing in the street butt naked? It's hard to throw out a cool one liner when your at the mercy of the elements.

The original teen titans Beast boy from the comics and animated series was from 1966, 1980-1984 (comics) that was when beast boy only turned into a donkey until 1980 in the comic the new teen titans, where he was named the changeling and not beast boy, his whole appearance and suit was different

Bullshit. In the comics even tho he only transforms into a tiger when he first appeared, they didn't give a reason as to why. So we can't be sure as to why the tiger was his main choice other than the fact that he liked them. And even when he was new to the power, he was still able to at least turn into a monkey.

@@samalexander2712 uh yeah they did. They explained in that episode where Gar took Rachel to that house that the doctor believed it was mental for Gar. He loved tigers when he was younger and that was why he could only (to what he believed) transform into one. If you don’t believe me, just rewatch that episode and come back.

I personally think this guy (not sure of the actor's name) makes a great BB. He seems like he has the charisma. I'm not sure if the show has him more in his cocky, sorta goofy element, but I like the added effect of him having to change out of clothes and the fact his powers are progressing like in the comic series. Highly considering watching the show just for him and Raven alone.
