@@Oklahomie95 You're just making shit up. Go read the New Teen Titans books from the 80s where Starfire tells the other Titans her origins. She uses beams AND flies. The starbolts varied in color but it's not just earthly flames shooting from her hands. This is largely considered the beginning of the Starfire we know today so referencing anything prior to this point would be like bringing up how Batman used to have a gun to justify having him shoot people today. Try again.

I’m literally looking at comic pages where a lot of times her bolts look straight up like fire. It’s orange, and for years her hair was literally like fire at the end and leaves a trail of flame when she flies

@@Oklahomie95 Not sure why you're bringing up her hair as a refutation of my point, I never even mentioned that. But about the Starbolts, I'd like to see what images you're looking at. I just did a google search for NTT Starfire and I don't see a single panel of her shooting regular fire from her hands. Sometimes it's the color of fire, sometimes it's a clean laser and sometimes it's more smokey and wavey. But the shit like what we see in this video? Like it's just a flamethrower? Don't see that.

Am I the only one who REALLY LOVES this series. The actors portray their characters very nicely and the story is overall good and thrilling. The only critic I can say about this show is they somehow put a LOT of flashbacks and it is somehow boring to me, it slows down the storyline. They also overhighlight the "other" characters. Like I want to see more of Raven, Beast Boy and especially Starfire scenes. Other than that, this show is actually a great show.

I love the character and the actress, but why isn't she flying? There is no good reason for that to me, same with Dove and Wonder Girl, but at least Raven, Superboy and Krypto can get in the air. Donna can at least jump, so that's my only gripe. Favorite scenes are when she and Raven cured Superboy, when she came back to the team and it was apparent she and Robin were the Mommy and Daddy of the team, and the amazingly awesome battle three-way with her, Dick, and Slade.

They nerf SF so much. She cant fly, physically weaker and then the bit about unable to use/run out of power at night. S2 seems like they have given her more power and she can seem to use her power more often even if its night time, but still, they nerfed her so much. In the comic, she can literally destroy a planet with her super hot sun explosion, and she can easily lift 60 tons of weight without even breaking a sweat.

I’m excited to see where they take her powers in the next season. Something debilitated her powers and I wonder if it has to do with her emotions or when Raven helped her recover Connor. Also, I know a lot of people have issues with her depiction in some ways but in regards to her starbolts, the animated series made them green. Also she absorbs UV radiation and can turn it into blasts of energy and radiation doesn’t have(to have) a straight shape. I line the depiction like fire since fire is literally just energy and she uses it intensely or in small amounts. Maybe we’ll see her fly but remember, it’s all about the writing and the shows budget 😉

Just recently they made Rosario Dawson orange for Ahsoka Tano in the Mandalorian to be accurate to the source material so why couldn't they paint her orange? I would say the same thing if this woman was white, yellow, pink, grey I don't care about the fact that she is African American. Don't make this about race Starfire isn't even human.

I had no idea Wonder Woman had a clone before this. I should really read more of her comics. I never really watched or read anything from her outside of justice league. This show made me interested in a lot of different characters. Raven has always been a fave tho I wish they made her origin story exactly like the comics it would have been much better and the story would make more sense in my opinion.

Tbh, Marvel done a better job at adaptation for TV shows and movie mostly. But for cartoons, I like DC better ngl.

And yes I do love this actor because she is black that’s because our culture knows how to appreciate one another when one strives we all strive they set a bar for us. They could've picked a better actress that gave the same Starfire personality feel and voice (like with the others), but because shes black, its perfectly fine? Nah Im mixed black and mexican so theres no hate, I'm just not a simp accepting things because of a certain race. Like what if they made black panther a mexican?

You’re all so negative. Give them time to become the Titans. There are years of comic book issues making them a team and it’s only been 2 seasons. They’re taking their time to make them grow into their powers. It’s obvious you’re basing your opinions on the 2002 cartoon instead of comics. They did a pretty good job. You don’t like a comic book accurate and dark titans? Watch the cartoon from the 2000s. You want silly titans? Stick to the Cartoon Network reboot. But stop coming here to complain ffs. Oh and btw. Star fire from the comics is BASED on a BLACK WOMAN. She’s not orange but at least her features are accurate.

Terry Wolf Um..You do know Starfire’s powers are actual fire right🤨? That was her power until the tv show changed it into green starbolts. Her eyes are green and skin turns orange when she powers up, so I don’t see the problem. The orange skin and eyes aren’t there do to budget and time reasonings. So...

I love how people claim she ain’t starfire because she doesn’t look like the animated one. Do you people know she appeared first in comic books and the Titans one is based on the comic book one right? People need to open a comic book. Also, she was modeled after a black woman, not a white one so

@@robertojuarez3502 I had the comic when I was a kid when she first came out: Long wavy hair (not hooker hair), orange skin, green eyes, she flew and had star bolts, not normal fire. Don't you find amazing how people at comic cons can get a character dead on with MUCH less budgets than large production and these large companies can't even come close. Maybe the next time a company does a live action comic adaption, they should check out their nearest comic con first for pointers. Then there is Gar, ... It's a shame actually, I was really looking forward to watching the series, until they screwed up the characters, and it might not have been do bad except Starfire has always been one of my favorite Titan heroes, and how could they get changeling wrong, he was one of the founding members of the Doom patrol?! Sad.
