Bears in the water at Lake Tahoe
The record-breaking weekend heat in the west drove a family of bears to seek relief in the cool waters of South Lake Tahoe over the weekend. This video captured by Heather Blummer shows the mama and her cubs wading into the waters Sunday as beachgoers looked on. The high reached 91 degrees on July 11.
Humans are always reminded to keep their distance, never feed the bears and NEVER get between a mother and her cubs.

I like your simplistic views but it doesn't work that way they're a bear family a dangerous wild bear family at that and if provoked that mom would do anything in her power to "kill you" standing around taking pictures near any wild animal is a "do at your own risk level", everyone their was equally at risk of getting hurt just stating factors is all.

This bear is likely local to the Tahoe basin and very used to seeing humans. People please don’t believe that a bear in the wild with cubs is something you should stop and take pictures of. You should back away and leave the area quickly and quietly. Mom will charge and harm you if she feels the cubs are threatened. And she decides what is threatening….
