Beamish Steam Gala 2022
Beamish Steam Gala Spectacular with around 20 road steam engines and rollers, along with around 25 internal combustion vehicles!
Highlights included Fowler B6 Talisman making its much anticipated Beamish debut, joined by a number of accompanying Fowler road locomotives hauling a heavy haulage load around the museum.
Visiting on the narrow gauge railway system was Kerr Stuart 0-4-0ST Peter Pan, celebrating its centenary year and recent overhaul. It was being part of a stone crushing display in The Colliery area, driven by traction engine 'Louise'. Resident narrow gauge locomotives Samson and Glyder were also in action on The Colliery 2 foot gauge railway.
Steam traction engine Providence was hauling Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway Preservation Society locomotive Whillan Beck on a trailer around the museum.

A brilliant day out on Saturday. A big big THANK YOU to everyone involved for helping it make the day so special.
Awesome!😍 Well thank you!
Excellent filming and editing! What a joy to watch! Well done!
Didn't even known it was the gala, gutted I've missed it
Just another comment from me...Hats off to the film cameraman! Just gorgeous shots and appreciation of transpirational scenes that could have gone anywhere without a very focussed eye on the outcome and the edit and the final cut. Wonderful!
What a remarkable collection of vehicles, wish I could have been there

If you haven't been to Beamish, The Sunday of the Seam Fair was as good as the first day.

Wonderful 👏👏👏👏👏
Looked great but why are these events never mentioned on the local tv news Before they are held?
I never realised how many steam engines are still around, congratulations x
