The Beach Boys were a complete body. Brian was the brain with his creativity, Dennis was the heart, forever young, Carl and Al were the arms and hands that played those guitars. Mike was the asshole.

What kind of drugs was he on. And obviously if he wasn't he just proved what a crazy asshole he is. He was blessed by Brian Wilson and his Brothers. Then he's filed multiple lawsuits. He sued Brian, his uncle, Al Jardine. And maybe others. Steals the name, takes credit for songs He didn't write. Tried to sue for 44 more but lost. Al counter sued and got out of court settlement. Then to insult some of the greatest talented musicians, composer's, performers of r&r history. He can't even play a tambourine let alone be a true musician. He sucks!!!

I can’t believe he bashed Paul McCartney for suing his band mates. Years later he sued Brian over the rights to The Beach Boys name, songwriting credits, and even accused Brian of stealing his likeness when Brian completed Smile. How do you make a speech about love and harmony while simultaneously shitting in your peers and challenging them?

As I watch him during Brian's acceptance speech, Mike reminds me of a former boss of mine. When I would speak, he would interrupt constantly and generally try to throw me off any way he could, so that he could come back later and tell me how I didn't sound confident enough, and would suggest how to "improve myself". The thing is, Brian was doing just fine until Mike interrupted. What a jerk.

Dennis was the second most talented Beach Boy behind Brian. He wrote their best '70s songs, his Pacific Ocean Blue is one of my favorite albums of all time, and he was working on his amazing follow-up album, Bambu, when he died. Plus, he was always so supportive of his big brother Brian and quick to say that Brian was the leader of the Beach Boys. Anyone who can't recognize Dennis' genuine gifts and contributions to the band isn't a true Beach Boys fan.

There were long periods when Brian wasn't touring with The Beach Boys. Also, I don't know wth Love is talking about, The Stones have toured consistently throughout their entire existence. He rightly thought it best to let a judge handle such matters. Mike's name has been restored to those songs since. The other time was definitely inexcusable, though.

Especially back in the 60’s when fathers really didn’t know what part they should play in a child’s life after a divorce. Then, John Lennon coming from a very unconventional home himself where his father left him & his mother left him 2 live with his Aunt Mimi & yet she lived only miles away with her new family & he didn’t know it & didn’t see her til he was in his teens. Only to reconcile with her & then she gets killed by a drunk driver when he was 17 yrs old. That was something that completely damaged him the rest of his life. He just really didn’t know what to do as an adult with Julian & as an adult, Julian realized that & forgave him for it.
