A 37'' kettle gives you the area of about three 22'' kettles. I can see the ranch kettle being useful if you're actually cooking for a lot of people regularly. Guessing it's quicker to start 1 large kettle than 3 smaller ones

I cook very similar to my ribs, the key for me is no foil, lots of indirect heat, and chunks of wood. My favorite part is the rib tips. I haven't done chicken just yet, I'm Afraid of wasting a good piece of chicken and drying them out to much. I never thought about tucking that rib tips but I'm doing that. Good stuff man. Thank you

Great job on the kettle. Knowing what your pit is doing and having that insight makes the job and results so much easier. Seeing people rely on gadgets for me only takes away from a cook as this, using your eyes and knowing the pit and what it's capable of brings it all together. I enjoyed watching, no fanfare, bravado just straight down the road give it to me BBQ. The only thing I pulled exception to was the comment saying this is southern Q and that's how we do it. Not much different here in my northern backyard, I do my ribs the same but on a Santa Maria. Well, I really enjoyed the presentation, could almost taste the cook, it pulled on my BBQ happiness, it was a good ride. I subscribed, how could I not

Just found this channel, easy sub. I def learned a few tips on the ribs over coal. That's just how I like them, similar to the bite on a Chinese spare rib, but with American style flavors (although I do like asian style too). Fall off the bone ribs are good, but at that point I'd rather just have chopped pork, which IMO is better with a shoulder and not the ribs. This right here, is how I like my ribs. My man!
