This video is meant as a tribute and as a "new take" on the classic movie "Battle of Britain" from 1969. I always felt the movie, with it's uptone music did not fit with the reality, and the reality is nasty. To fight for survival over the coast of Kent is a serious matter, and not a parade. The BoB soundtrack have always gotten praise, and yes, it does it somewhat, but it stays in my mind and opinion as the wrong "tone" to such a movie. This is no game, this is no parade. This is war. And there is nothing good about war.
The original vdeo idea had a 10 minute aerial battle planned, but as time progressed I realised that the Battle of Britain had just as much to do with the terror bombardment of London. Therefore, it is split into three segments with a final speech from Hugh Dowding explaining the Battle of Britain in one sentence to end it, the first two being a dogfight and second the London boming. If one can put it like that.
So, where's the Hurricanes? For some reason, the editing came out as just Spitfires. Yes I know, historically not correct, but the good video footage in the movie had Spitfires and not many Hurricanes, and when I tried to implement the Hurris, they did not fit with the proceeding video clips.
