Sophie - Remi must have the best kept mane, tail and feathers in the whole of the UK! What a beautiful beautiful horse, you put so much hard work into him. I’ve had a touch of what you have to contend with, when I owned a grey many years ago, but not quite as much as you with Remi - amazing, you truely have him looking a million dollars! I also just wanted to ask if you would do a video on plaiting or braiding manes and tails since he has all that lovely hair! ☺️ I am sure there is enough hair in all his feathers to do same....... maybe? Would that be a first? 😍
I love your horse, he’s gorgeous! That’s my literal dream horse! I love your content 💖
I love how beautiful and sparkly Remmi looks after this ! His white patches are stunning !! Thanks for sharing 🥰❤️

So, fun fact: The lather actually does nothing. I work for a shampoo company and it's only there for us as lovely humans to think it's doing something. :)

@@dalenderocha2561 I'm simply speaking from personal experience. I've tried shampoo that does not lather and my hair was not even remotely clean afterwards. I always assumed that the bubbles help spread the product better
Thank you! Very nice tips!

It looks so satisfying to wash so much feather! Although I don't envy you haha I think I will stick to my welsh cob sized feathers and letting the sea wash them for me ha!
Another quality video giving me some ideas for my two dirty greys😂 I absolutely love this video and the products reviews and how you wash Mr. Remmi. Probably going to have 20 or so shampoos very soon😝

That`s why I wanted a black shire with only the white legs. But a white shire had to have me so I feel your pain of the white fur with a much larger and whiter horse :p
Sophie: The Queen of shampoos haha The super groomer looks amazing! Think I'll be investing in one of those hehe

I will absolutely take that crown 😂😂 It’s such a nifty little too - I’ve had something similar in the past but it didn’t have the handle so it would always fall out of my hand x

Magnificent animal
where did you get that gorgeous remington from lol !!
We have the exact same jug at my stable 😂
Awww what a good boy he is he has the patience of a saint ! I always thought you owned Remi from the bond and love you clearly have for each other I'm assuming you must loan him then ? It's a shame his owners couldn't sell him to you.....Mind you being so close to him is as good as owning anyway plus....Minus the vet bill's ! Lol, he looks gorgeous ! ❤

Awww no, it’s a fab little arrangement we have ☺️ He is a very good boy when it comes to bathing - He’s used to pampering though, he’s been having baths like this since he was 5 months old 🤣
Me and my sister used to french braid a horse's feathers (we used to ride him)

Thank you so pleased you enjoyed 😊 It’s a unique arrangement with Remmi - I would say more than part loan but not quite full loan 😂 Like I say unique but it works x
Which purple shampoo do you like the best out of the ones you showed?
@RidingRemington

Oooooh good question... I would have to say the Shapley’s EquiTone as it’s been a long time fave whereas the Smart Grooming is fairly new to us 😊
Breeds with feathers are beautiful but I never want one, I couldn’t begin to imagine the fortune you’d have to spend on shampoo and conditioner 😭😭😭
I never do the face bc my MARE always keeps a clean face and it’s not good to do it a loy
I want one of those smart grooming super groomer. But im in canada
It works better if u apply the soap directly on the hirse
What horse breeds are the horses
Is he a gypsy vanner?
What breed of horse is that? I'd defo want one 😋
My piebald comes off that clean with green Gary liquid
@RidingRemington
4 жыл бұрын
I have used washing up liquid in the past but it’s very drying on the skin and hair and no go for sensitive ponies 😊
Is that cold water from the hose or do you have a hot water tap outside?
@RidingRemington
4 жыл бұрын
Cold water. We do have a hot water shower too for when the weather is slightly cooler but that day was a very warm day 💜
Is it hard to keep a horse pure white like that? He’s absolutely gorgeous
@jessicamegan6570
3 жыл бұрын
very hard especially in the winter when you only have cold water and the fields are muddy. when i bought my horse her tail was stained yellow and her feathers where a mess and we have had her 8 months and are still working on getting her clean. might have to hog her tho :( hopefully we wont
With lots of white? My gypsy cob is all white except the head and a small patch on her rump! I don't have access to warm water where they're kept right now but I've thought about bringing a barrel/container of hot water to use?!?

I have no real knowledge so please dont get mad for the stupid questions. How often do you give him a full bath liek this? Do you ever just hose him down? And do you ever cut his feathers or tail, not a lot but just trim them up once in awhile?
what breed is she??

I've been using baby shampoo on my animals faces fo years and most people think that I am nuts. Nice to see someone else agrees with me.
@RidingRemington
4 жыл бұрын
Baby shampoo for the win for the sensitive bits! I’ve always been a big baby shampoo fan - Years ago I had a pony who suffered with sweet itch and it was the only thing that was gentle enough for his itchy skin. As I say this was years ago so there wasn’t as much shampoo choice like there is now 😊
What breed is remi
@RidingRemington
3 жыл бұрын
He is a Traditional Gypsy Cob 😊
He’s Homozygous too!!
Can you also wash my horse?😂
is it just me or were you overdoing it slightly? It felt like you were being slightly aggressive with his mane and tail (they were visibly getting tangled) and his face, and maybe 2 shampoos was a bit too much in this case. (no hate, just a thought) Even with the conditioner, it would have been much more productive, to put loads of conditioner in your palms and gently work it in while smoothing the mane down, instead of causing more breakage
Ugh the only thing worse than a white tail...is a mare with a white tail!!! Awful 😖
She sounds like one of those stuck up rich girl moms who give thier daughter whatever she wants 😂like in the movies
