Bastille - Pompeii is on iTunes : bit.ly/BASTILLEPOMPEII

Bastilles got that one voice that you cant get bored of no matter how repetitive you make it.
4 guys rocking with only a guitar and its case is a sure sign of talent.

Absolutely incredibly. Thank you so much for this. I'm a drummer, and I've got my own ideas, but this was phenominal. Thank you for this.
This acoustic is perfect
There are infinite experiences that are so much more fulfilling without technological enhancements - this acoustic version, but sadly not their other versions is certainly of that level of perfection. What makes this perfect? It harkens back to our most essential, hand clapping and stomping to provide percussion, harmony and dissonance, and singing in a cavernous space to amplify both meaning and sound.
This version should have been the single.
These lyrics certainly hit differently this year.

What's great about this one is how you can actually hear is range and his voice. It doesn't sound like he's straining or pushing it. It's just him and the background music and it's absolutely lovely.
That freakin' voice !!!
These guys have come so far...they are amazing artists.
Can't ask for a better natural reverb than that. Incredible sound!!!!
Well, this made my morning considerably better!
I just love the way that he says "dust" at 1:21. Makes my heart melt! :)
Ugh he's such a good singer 😫😍
2022 and I still listen to this
Oh mY LORD JESUS THIS IS SO GOOD HIS VOICE AND THEIR HARMONIES AND THE GUITAR AND THE DRUMMING ON THE GUITAR CAS AND QNFQNGIBRJN HEL P Me iM DY I NG THE RASP
One word explains this group: Outstanding. A band that can actually perform live without the use of the technology. Simply wonderful.
A live acoustic version will have memorable, necessary flaws. Gorgeous. I love this performance.
I have watched this dozens of times, but this is the first time I’ve listened with headphones. The mix is absolutely fantastic.
Why can't I like it more than once? Cuz, I like this A LOT!!
The smile in his voice at 2:37 is a thing of beauty.
Well it is such a great moment when a group, a sound, a phenomenon of harmony, rhythm and percussion (without standard drums and sticks) make art of creative and very talented voices and musical ability! So.. So.. Fine.... Kodaline !!!
this is the best thing i've seen in a while! thank you god for given us bastille!
2:28 four sturdy men singing such sweet-sounding falsettos

They're going to be around for a looong time! I see them getting HUGE!! This is the music that appeals to so many, their audience size will only grow and grow. Drummer kills. His voice will only hone in and get better. Just like their audience size, their talent will continue to grow. They're amazing.

My favorite part was definitely the old man watching, he's probably worked there for years and has never seen anything like that, awesome
Dan sounds incredible on the album, but when stripped to bare bones like this, it gives me chills. This is such a great live rendition, and I honestly wish more artists would do this sort of thing. No autotune, no mixing. Just them, their voice, and a guitar.
this is so simple, yet so amazing. if only other artists can apply this kind of discipline where artist only emphasize the skill, music, and pure art, i believe our music generation can earn more respect.
Somethings beautiful about that old timer just standing there taking in this type of music. Sure it made his day

This has got to be the most fabulous virtually unaccompanied version of any song I've ever heard..so clever how they mimic the missing instruments and effects. Beautiful setting in the Museum of Fine Arts in Paris and fine young men! Totally in awe of them!
this is so good, I listen to this version every day
These guys are truly talented I'm very impressed by this acoustic version
Dan's such a sweet guy. I've lost count how many times I've seen him wearing that gray jacket of his. I will cherish this group of nice talented people like how Dan cherish his things. Love you Bastille!
I just adore the slight roughness to his voice. That gravelly sound is my absolute favorite in guys' voices
i watched this video a million times and still love it
He sings gorgeously. They are amazing all together live andpure just like that
