Alex, these videos are great, and i cant believe the rate your releasing them at. Absolutely loving it! It's a treat getting this insight in you design process and your wealth of knowledge / practical experience on the subject.

I'm only managing to do them this fast because they're no script, one take, zero editing! More elaborately produced ones (like sonic comparisons and demos) will take a lot more time. Glad you're liking them!

Nice looking driver Sir. EQ is a great tool but having great sound to start makes everything better.

Can't thank you enough mate. I've been thinking about how this stuff works recently and your channel is my kind of university.

It's a shame they don't reach much of this in engineering degrees!

I'm starting to realize that am constantly gravitating toward a more SVT-like sound in my own playing using my HX Stomp. I love that tone. Maybe I should get a super twin and just use my stomp for compression and effects, etc. I can use an amp and cab sim on the main out to the board for FOH of course but for on stage the super twin seems like a winner for me. I was going to get a big baby or big twin but I think they have both too much low end and too much high end for my taste and playing, as you say in this! this is a great explanation of why the SVT is such a great sound and is so iconic.

Alex I love how scientific you are about this stuff. This is the way I think about frequency response as well. Ps: Love the Big Twin 3, will never sell it, and will always highly recommend it to people at gigs when they ask. Lots of people comment on it as well. Would love to talk to you about being an endorsed artist for you guys. 😄

It's great finding out what goes into making these cabs tick. Very interested to see this kind of video for your 10CR cabs in the future.

Would love to see an option on the 12” cabs for tolex and/or a super matte finish.

We have done one experimental Super Compact with tolex - it was pretty difficult with the front port complexity!

Alex: your point about floor reinforcement- is that true of all your cabs? I’m planning on often having my One10T up off the floor by about a foot or so…

Would love to try your speakers out as IR’s (uploaded into my Darkglass Element) … don’t suppose you have any plans for this at all?
